Canon Launches New Campaign for Pixma

Canon India Pvt. Limited announced the launch of its new consumer printer campaign around the PIXMA E series, a revolutionary range of home printing solutions. The campaign, ‘Can a printer print love?’emphasizes on creating awareness around the endless possibilities of printing. Canon has roped in youth icon and leading Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma as the face of the digital and print campaign. The campaign targeted at reaching out to over 11 cities looks at creating awareness around the added benefits of PIXMA’s E series printers.

Equipped with Creative Park, the PIXMA E Series printers allow users to create personalized cards, stunning 3 D paper art, scrapbook designs and tons of other wonderful things, adding a whole new dimension of love and emotion to printing solutions. These printers provide an excellent platform for the Indian youth to express their true feelings in the form of visually attractive prints.

Speaking about the launch of the new campaign, Dr. Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice President, Canon India said, ‘The Canon PIXMA E series is the best thing that has happened to 1.3 million units inkjet printers industry in India. For Indian middle class households with school going children, it is a big value add. We are positioning this category as a great enabler for users to express their emotions and feelings in a creative and fun way. We expect to grow our inkjet biz by 33% this year despite overall depressed business environment"

Elaborating on the approach, Dr Bharadwaj added " This new range of Inkjet all-in-ones, are loaded with revolutionary technology to make printing cost the lowest in not just in Canon range but in whole industry. Our customers and test labs endorse this view. This lowest running cost proposition has been taken to a higher orbit by launching a new customer engagement idea of ' Creative Park Premium' which is a Canon portal that helps you download numerous designs for making your home a so called 'creative center' for a bigger fun. This is biggest endeavor of building creative community ever done in the industry."

The 30-day campaign, launched on 30th June looks to transform the way India approaches printouts and printing solutions.
