Ricoh India announced the launch of Device Manager NX. This is a new powerful tool from Ricoh, which puts control of an entire device fleet in the hands of the customer. Device Manager NX empowers an IT Administrator to easily and efficiently manage their entire fleet of networked devices from one central computer. From one intuitive dashboard on their computer screen they can Auto Discover their networked devices, Ricoh as well as any other printers, and perform batch configurations to specific device groups or even the entire fleet.
Regardless of whether the customer is a SMB with single location & 20 installations, or a billion dollar Multi-national Corporation with operating across 140 countries with 2000 offices with 15000 devices, there is a Device Manager NX solution to fit their requirements. For IT team to know the device performance (Uptime), managing break fixes, supply (consumables & spares) management, Utilization (Over & Under) are always a matter of challenge and eating away their productivity.
IT Administrators are able to map, monitor and configure Ricoh devices remotely, greatly reducing help desk calls and simplifying the IT support needed to manage large print fleets. The software's optimized performance improves the process for device discovery and polling, further saving time and reducing the TCO for devices being managed by the software Device Managers gives them the comfort to manage the devices from a central computer with ease.
Device Manager NX is designed to maximize the features provided by the latest GW NX enabled devices as well as align with the @Remote solution. These 2-solutions work better together to provide the ultimate customer experience; using @Remote alongside Device Manager NX will enable customers to manage their fleet, but outsource and automate the more routine and time critical aspects of device management, such as meter readings and toner replacement, ensuring the accuracy of billing and minimization of fleet downtime. It also provides a green report Energy Saving, paper Saving, Tree Saving based on actual utilization.
It is an important tool in Ricoh's Managed Document Services (MDS) program, which focuses on total cost of ownership (TCO), business process improvement, security and compliance, and environmental sustainability. This new addition to the solution family is geared toward organizations with hundreds to thousands of networked printer and digital multifunction product (MFP) output devices, enabling these large print fleets to be managed from a single application. With help of versatile products and solutions in their overall basket, Ricoh can offer total print/ document management solutions to all customers.
