The Department of Telecommunications and Delhi Government had invited TechXR, an award-winning start-up, as a first presenter to showcase their innovations and its use case in Education and Skill Development.
Marching forward towards a mission to democratise classrooms, the company presented the worldโs most affordable AR-VR solution with their patented 6DoF AR-VR controller (3D Mouse).
The device adds interaction to smartphones so that the use case methodology can move to the next level. The 3D mouse can convert the existing smart classroom into an AR-VR powered classroom at less than 2% of the cost offered by other solution providers.
Additionally, the software development kit and web-based low code AR-VR development engine allows teachers, developers, and students to create immersive XR experiences. The innovation has already bagged 30 awards, and received an invitation to 5G launch event.
Mr K. Rajaraman Telecom Secretary, praised the economical innovation - 3D Mouse (AR-VR controller). He said the start-up has brought down the cost of the interactive device to Rs. 2500, enabling an entire class to learn in 3D. While similar other solution cost over Rs 3 lac per device.
Mr. Prashant Mishra, Founder TechXR, also talked about the AR-VR development program launched by the start-up in collaboration with iHUB IIT Roorkee, which aims to create a quality AR-VR developer base in India.
