Cashify Expands its Presence with Inauguration of 100th Offline Store

Cashify is all set to hit a century with its 100th offline store for their retail business, which was inaugurated on 28th March 2022. After enjoying an excellent online presence for nearly 6 years, Cashify began establishing its offline presence with the opening of its first retail store in 2019.

Currently, Cashify continues to have a strong offline presence across several tier-1, tier-2, and tier 3 cities. With this store-opening spree, Cashify is all set to launch 14 stores at one go, reaching a significant milestone of building its offline presence across 43 cities.

Speaking on the offline store expansion, Mr Alok Shukla, VP-Retail at Cashify said, “We’re aiming to focus on spreading our offline services to as many cities as possible. We already have a well-established offline consumer base in tier 1 and tier 2 cities and with more stores in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to further expanding our offline services to  tier 3 cities as well.”

Mr Shukla added that Cashify plans on expanding into new categories, including laptops, iPads, and smartwatches. He also confirmed that Cashify is already providing a buyback option for these categories on its app and website.

Commenting on the significance of the offline channel for Cashify, Mr Mandeep Manocha, Co-founder - Cashify said, “Cashify understood in its early days itself that a significant number of customers rely on offline retail outlets to repair or sell their phones. For this reason, Cashify decided to bridge the gap by opening offline stores that are easily accessible while providing high-quality services. And, we weren’t surprised to see the huge footfall in the retail stores for selling old phones, repairing mobile phones, buying accessories or refurbished phones which only corroborates our premise of building our offline store network.”

Cashify is an online platform that allows you to sell your old phones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops, and more that are lying in your drawers for instant cash. With the aim to provide offline services to as many people as possible, Cashify plans to open another 200 stores in FY 2022-2023.
