Ketan: The Indian retail market is estimated to grow rapidly in nearby future, driven by factors such as an increase in urban population, changing consumer preferences & rising disposable incomes.

Rajeev: Being an established distribution house, how do you assure your brand partners to enable them to achieve tremendous growth while working with you?

Ketan: With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on our ability to fully understand the brands we work with. As we on board any upcoming brand, first of all we do a detailed market research on the brand awareness and its products and on the basis of team inputs and brand’s product needs in the Indian market then only we move forward to sign-up the brand. After that, our team of experts creates an execution plan based on the research data and tailored to the needs of the brand, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Once we have signed on, we work with our brands on a 360-degree approach, infusing their products into modern trade, general trade, large format stores, and online marketplaces. Additionally, if a brand is interested in creating a direct-to-consumer profile, we are equipped to support them with website creation and marketing strategies. Our comprehensive approach ensures that our brands receive the support they need to thrive in the Indian market.

Rajeev: What are your focus areas for sustaining the leadership position in the market from long term viewpoint?

Ketan: Innovation and consumer experience are the key focus areas for us to maintain our current market position. That's why we have partnered with renowned brands such as Razer and Cricut for Pan India distribution. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedication and support of our talented team of over 300 professionals.

Rajeev: What all digital tools are you using to boost your business? Do you have any plans for investing in the digitalization of your business architecture?

A

Ketan: We are currently making significant investments in our business to expand our reach and offer more value to our customers. One of our key initiatives is Ckart, which is India's first B2B eCommerce platform for the electronics and IT peripherals industry. In addition, we are also investing in creating direct-to-consumer channels for our Olympus, Dustor, and other products in the pipeline. To further support our brand partners, we are offering Amazon Marketing Services to help promote their products through Indian market channels. These investments demonstrate our commitment to innovation and growth, and we are excited to continue exploring new opportunities to expand our business. Being a Omni-Channel organization we do provide the D2C Website facility to our brands as we have a dedicated team to look after this requirement for various brands. To emphasize our commitment to our brand partners, we are taking our investments in Amazon Marketing Services a step further and launching a D2C website to provide them with an additional opportunity for growth and success.

Rajeev: Please tell about your current product portfolio and plans to diversify this portfolio in near future.

A

Ketan: We are constantly seeking new brands that are interested in expanding their business in the Indian market and increasing their vertical growth. Our focus is to continuously add more brands to our FSSG portfolio, which consists of new and niche products that appeal to the younger demographic and have a fast turnaround time. These brands are driven by social media penetration and wide adoption, making it one of the fastest-growing and higher-margin segments in the market. In addition to this, we also cater to the EB- Enterprise business which comprises high-volume products supplied to enterprises. Some of the notable brands in this category include MSI, Phillips, and AOC.
