Microtek is poised for continued growth, driven by strong demand for inverters and innovative product launches. Mr. Manoj Jain, Director of Microtek International Pvt. Ltd., reflects on the company’s solid performance in FY 2024-25, including the success of new offerings like the LUXE WIFI IoT-based inverter and the expansion into Lithium battery technology. Jain also discusses emerging opportunities in the solar segment, particularly the government's PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna, which is fueling demand for on-grid inverters.

Rajeev: How did your business perform in CY 2024? What were the key factors that contributed to this success?

Manoj: Our business has performed well in FY 2024-25, driven by an extraordinarily hot summer that significantly increased demand for inverters. Additionally, the launch of our range of Microtek Inverters and Solar Batteries contributed to our topline and bottom line. We also introduced cutting-edge products, including the LUXE WIFI IoT-based inverter and the Next Gen Series inverters with Lithium Battery compatibility and a 4-level charging current selection, further strengthening our market position.

Rajeev: What are your key business objectives for 2025? How do you plan to achieve them?

Manoj: Our primary business objective for 2025 is to achieve a minimum of 25% growth in turnover while maintaining a strong bottom line and grab a good market share in the inverter battery segment. We are gearing up to launch our Lithium battery range for inverters and aim to establish a significant presence in this category. Additionally, we plan to triple our sales in the Solar Products vertical by introducing new and innovative products in this category.

Rajeev: What new opportunities do you foresee emerging in your industry?

Manoj: We see significant opportunities in the solar segment, driven by the government's PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna. This scheme is also creating a massive demand for on-grid inverters and solar panels. Recognizing this potential, we are actively focusing on expanding in this space. Moreover, we are aggressively exploring the Lithium Battery segment, as it is poised to be the battery of the future in the coming years.

Rajeev: What is your current channel strength, and how do you plan to enhance your channel ecosystem in 2025?

Manoj: We have a strong pan-India network of over 50,000 channel partners, and we continuously strengthen and expand it based on regional demand and market potential.

Rajeev: What new product categories or services are you planning to introduce in 2025?

Manoj: As mentioned earlier, we are expanding our portfolio by introducing Lithium Battery Storage Systems as a new business category. Additionally, we are strengthening our focus on the electrical division, which includes wires, cables, and circuit protection devices
