Chitranshu: Primebook aims to integrate AI into the PrimeOS operating system to enhance the learning experience for students and learners and our team has started working on it.
Our focus is to train the AI in contextual awareness, thereby enabling Primebook users to get a personalized AI Buddy who would understand and provide niche-specific knowledge the user needs; to the exact degree of detail.
For instance, If a 12-year-old Primebook user wants to learn about a topic in history and another 20-year-old wants to learn about the same topic but for in-depth research work, the AI will formulate answers accordingly. With contextual awareness about the users’ age, academic level, and purpose of work, the AI will curate the most precise and relevant answers; not some generic ones.
Having said that, we also plan to train the AI for on-screen awareness to ease out a student’s online activities, whether getting notified of vital information that went unnoticed on the screen, automatically responding to an email even after 3 days, or getting a brief of what’s there on the screen. This particular functionality is also meant to serve visually impaired students with real-time content adaption, translation, error detection and correction, and so forth.
Rajeev: With the launch of the pre-bundled Windows Cloud PC, how does Primebook aim to balance affordability and functionality while addressing the unique needs of Indian students and educators?
Chitranshu: The main idea behind our upcoming Primebook with a pre-bundled Windows Cloud PC is to balance affordability and functionality while addressing the unique needs of Indian students and educators. While cloud computing helps eliminate the need for a high-end expensive device to pursue resource-extensive tasks, we thought of enabling Indian students and educators to actually leverage it! By paying a nominal subscription fee for the Windows Cloud service, students and educators can streamline their learning/teaching efficiency and productivity on Primebook.
The pre-bundled Windows Cloud PC would empower Indian students and educators to seamlessly access the benefits of two worlds on one device – The e-learning apps from the Android ecosystem on a multitasking interface alongside the resource-extensive Windows software, such as AUTOCAD, Photoshop, and more. Such integration would significantly cater to the robust computing needs of engineering students and educators; those pursuing graphic design, animation, or UI/UX designing courses, etc.
Not only will this bridge the gap between affordability and high-end functionality for Indian students and educators, but also provide students with the versatility to adapt to the diverse learning/teaching environment. Students can hereby get familiar with advanced cloud tools, enhance their virtual skills, and prepare for the tech-driven job market of today.
Rajeev: How does the PrimeCoding initiative aim to equip young learners with essential skills, and what sets it apart from other coding platforms?
Chitranshu: The development of the PrimeCoding on the PrimeOS operating system powering the Primebook laptops has been (and still is) vehemently helping young learners learn and practice coding in various programming languages, from Python and Java to C, C++ and CSS in an easy-to-use, safe environment. This initiative was actually taken on the recommendation of our Primebook users who sought to fetch one of the most essential skills of the 21st century.
By availing of the PrimeCoding app on Primebook laptops, young learners can apply their knowledge of coding to practical ways of application like implementing data structures, creating algorithms for web scraping, writing Python scripts for automating tasks and making websites based on HTML, CSS, or Javascript. Alongside the enhancement of logical thinking and problem-solving skills, students get the flexibility to learn at their own pace and elevate their career opportunities.
