In a fast-evolving digital economy where enterprises are reimagining their operations through automation and intelligence, MPC Cloud Consulting has emerged as one of the most dynamic Oracle partners transforming enterprise workflows across industries. In this exclusive conversation with Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal, Amit Garg, Founder & CEO, MPC Cloud Consulting discusses how MPC is helping enterprises navigate the next phase of digital transformation with Oracle Cloud ERP, the growing impact of agentic AI on business automation, and his vision to make MPC one of the world’s leading Oracle consulting firms.
Rajeev: What major shifts are you seeing among enterprises today, and how is MPC Cloud Consulting helping organizations navigate these changes effectively?
Amit: The ERP consulting industry has been evolving with every decade, and in the last two years, we’ve seen a strong focus on AI-driven automation across HR and supply chain systems. MPC has always been known for taking Oracle solutions to the next level. We’ve been investing heavily in agentic AI, developing our own AI-based solutions, and helping customers leverage Oracle’s native AI capabilities.
In today’s competitive market, companies that navigate these challenges and effectively integrate innovations will be the ones to thrive in the long run. MPC has been doing exceptionally well here. Whatever has been provided by Oracle in terms of automated solutions, we have implemented them effectively for customers.
Rajeev: Many enterprises still struggle with the limitations of legacy ERP systems. What common challenges do they face, and how does Oracle Cloud ERP help them build more agile, data-driven, and scalable business processes?
Amit: There are hundreds of ERP solutions available in the market. Oracle succeeds because when organizations grow globally or seek agile systems to meet their evolving needs, Oracle stands out. When Oracle is supported by the right partners, customers get a result-oriented approach by solutions that address their requirements while moving from legacy or Excel-based systems to Oracle’s modern environment. Once a customer is on Oracle systems, they enter a new world where everything is available at a click.
Rajeev: MPC Cloud Consulting is known as a boutique Oracle partner focused on end-to-end ERP transformation. Could you walk us through your implementation approach and how it ensures faster adoption, better visibility, and tangible business outcomes?
Amit: The world is full of consulting firms, but the key is — why MPC? When we started in 2019, we asked ourselves, can we survive in this crowded market? There are many firms doing good work, but not all can retain customers successfully.
What we focused on was consistent user experience. By that, I mean understanding the customer’s requirement in the language they understand, and then explaining Oracle’s solution in that same language. Once this philosophy gets embedded in the delivery, every solution works well — and that’s how MPC has grown so strongly.
We are now a 700-people organization. For the customer who brought us this award, they were on Excel systems and preparing for an IPO. The CEO asked if we could help, and I said, “Why not?” We implemented Oracle, and on the very first day, they were able to complete 94% of their HR transactions without using a desktop or laptop — entirely through mobile devices.
This company operates in sustainable energy, where 92% of the workforce has no access to computers. We provided small kiosks and mobile-based access. In today’s world, everyone has a smartphone, and this solved their problem completely. Oracle noticed the success and recognized us with the Best Consulting Partner award. This happened because we provided a solution that met the customer’s real needs, supported by a strong consulting team that understood, mapped, and delivered accordingly.
Rajeev: How would you rate your experience working with Oracle’s own teams during deployment?
Amit: There are multiple Oracle teams involved — sales, customer success, support, and project success management. It’s a collaborative effort, and we’ve been fortunate to always receive positive and timely support from all Oracle teams. That collaboration has been a key factor in our success. Whether it’s MPC or Oracle, both teams work towards the best interest of the customer, and when that happens, everyone succeeds.
Rajeev: Large-scale ERP modernization often demands strong internal alignment and cultural readiness. In your view, what factors are critical for driving successful organizational change during such transformation?
Amit: The first and foremost factor is the consultant’s ability to understand the customer’s requirement and explain the solution in the language the customer understands. Many business users have mastered excel over the years but may not be familiar with Oracle. Consultants need to communicate in a way that makes sense to them.
Rajeev: With Oracle Cloud ERP continuously evolving through AI, automation, and analytics, how is MPC helping clients harness these innovations to build future-ready business models?
Amit: Oracle has been proactive in enabling partners. They introduced extensive training programs to help partners understand new technologies and Oracle’s vision for them. Oracle has developed several AI and agentic solutions.
The world is moving fast. Anything that can reduce manual effort or improve accuracy is welcome. For instance, if I’m recruiting and an agentic solution can identify the most suitable candidate already in my system, that’s a huge time-saver. These AI-driven tools solve real-world problems. Oracle not only allows partners to develop such solutions but also supports them in commercializing them. It’s a win-win for everyone — customers get smarter systems, and partners grow alongside Oracle.
Rajeev: As a fast-growing Oracle Cloud Consulting partner since 2019 and now an award winner, what’s next for MPC Cloud Consulting? What are your strategic priorities for the coming years?
Amit: Our vision is to make MPC the world’s best consulting firm ever to work with Oracle. Looking 15 years ahead, we want to be among the global top five consulting firms and make India part of that league.
We’ve been growing at over 2x every year and are already one of the largest Oracle competencies worldwide. The dream is big, and we are willing to put in the effort. Our focus remains simple — deliver great experiences to end users and become the most trusted Oracle consulting partner globally.
Rajeev: How do you plan to achieve these ambitious goals in the next few years?
Amit: MPC is a bootstrap company. Several key stakeholders have joined us, and we’re expanding globally — entering the US and UK markets. From a technology standpoint, we’re investing heavily in agentic solutions, addressing gaps where Oracle may not yet have coverage, and collaborating with Oracle to bridge those. We are building industry-driven solutions for sectors like BFSI and manufacturing. The goal is to eventually become the world’s most trusted Oracle partner.
Rajeev: Could you share which industry verticals are driving the most adoption and growth for MPC?
Amit: The key is understanding customer pain points, whether it’s a CHRO, CFO, or CIO each has specific needs. If we can identify and solve those, success follows. Oracle provides the technology, our role is to make it meaningful for the customer. Our top three focus verticals are hospitality, education, and banking, which together contribute nearly 70% of our business growth.
