Rajeev: What excites you the most about the future of gaming in India?
Amit: The gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors in India right now, and within the next five years, it is predicted to reach even newer heights in terms of business. People nowadays are aware of gaming, and brands are investing in and researching it, which in turn is attracting a much more audience. Earlier, the concept of gaming, and more specifically, gaming influencers, was common in US and the other developed countries; presently, India has its fair share of gaming influencers who are contributing to this market too. The influencers run their own gaming institutions, spreading first-hand knowledge amongst the audience. With the rise in gaming influencers and creators in India, people are much more interested in and aware of this industry, which I think is pretty much exciting.
Rajeev: What sets Gamdias apart from its competitors in the gaming industry?
Amit: Gamdias caters to all your needs for gaming. What sets us apart is our approach towards customers. We have all kinds of products, tailored according to your budget and other needs. Our products are created keeping all kinds of customers in mind, and we provide premium products at very affordable prices.
Rajeev: Please tell us about your product portfolio. How do you keep up with the latest trends and innovations to stay ahead in this highly competitive market?
Amit: We have dedicated research and development teams, for identifying the latest trends in this industry. Our teams run dedicated surveys to catch up with and analyze the market sentiments, which helps us in understanding the customers’ needs. We already had top 240 radiator support cabinets, but now we are coming up with top 360 radiator support cabinets, such as Athena P1, Neso, Atlas, etc. Interestingly, Gamdias was the first gaming company to launch 61 key mechanical keyboards for the first time in India. We have also launched PERSONALIZED LCD DISPLAY cooler (Chione P3) as we found out that it was a craze amongst our clients.
Rajeev: What is your product strategy? How does Gamdias maintain quality & affordability in its products?
Amit: The USP of Gamdias is to deliver the best quality products at an affordable cost. The gaming industry in India is still growing; so here the market is still sensitive about quality and pricing. Instead of focusing on the pricing strategy to gain market capitalization, our primary focus is on quality, to give only the best to our audience. The highlight here is our RMA ratio, which stands at 1-2%. Gamdias provides one site replacement warranty with new products to the users, dealers, and distributors too. Customer satisfaction is our primary priority, and that has worked for us all this time.
Rajeev: Please tell us about your channel network and strength in India. How do you take care of channel margin and growth?
Amit: We have very less, and yet, trusted distribution networks in different cities in India. Our distributors are a major support system to us and we maintain a cordial relationship with them. We focus on growth and all of us are growing together in this system.
Rajeev: What are your upcoming products of Gamdias in the next half of the year?
Amit: We are trying to parallel focus on both our budget and premium products as per our user's requirements. In August, we are launching Neso P1 Cabinet, one of our products from our premium products line. Other than that, we are going to launch a complete lineup of premium Cabinets with a top support 360 radiator namely Atlas P1, Poros P1, and Athena P1W while launching the Aura GC4, GC5, GC6, and GC7 in our budget Cabinet range very soon. From the wireless keyboards line, we have Hermes M4 hybrid and in PSU, we have Helios series 500W to 1300W Gold series coming out very soon. Overall, it is going to be a very exciting year for us and our audience as well.
