Vibhor: The guiding philosophy behind Supertron’s consistent growth over the past three decades has been a focus on slow and steady business development, prioritising strong vendor-channel relationships and ethical business practices. Through collaboration and integrity, Supertron has built a trusted reputation in the Indian technology market. Our commitment to these core principles has allowed the company to adapt to evolving market dynamics whilst its consistent progress.
Rajeev: How has been the growth for Supertron in year 2024 so far? What growth percentage you will achieve by this FY?
Vibhor: For Supertron, the fiscal year 2024, is expected to bring steady, double-digit growth compared to the previous year. While there was softer demand in certain sectors earlier in the year, the company remains charged with optimism as market conditions begin to stabilize. With focus on its long-term strategy, Supertron is confident that, despite the obstacles, it will meet its growth objectives for the fiscal year.
Rajeev: What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in scaling Supertron to most successful national distribution company?
Vibhor: One of our biggest challenges, in scaling Supertron to being among the most successful national distribution companies, has been achieving growth without compromising on ethics and core principles. In addition to this, managing strong and lasting relationships with our vendors, channel partners, and internal teams has been crucial as they form the foundation of smooth operations and long-term success. With a cohesive environment with trust and mutual respect as its pillars, we have been able to align our goals and drive performance, ultimately overcoming the challenges along the way.
Rajeev: How do you foresee the IT distribution landscape evolving going forward in coming few years?
Vibhor: With a broader scope that goes beyond traditional computing products, the IT distribution landscape is expected to expand significantly in the coming years. We are anticipating to witness the emergence of new business verticals, creating fresh growth opportunities for distributors. Diversification will be our driving force to stay competitive in the market. At Supertron, our commitment to staying ahead of the curve is achieved by continuously evolving our product portfolio and expanding our offerings to meet the ever changing demands of the market.
Rajeev: How the company take care on paying back to society as CSR initiatives through the Supertron Foundation?
Vibhor: The importance of giving back to society is something that we at Supertron have always valued. It is taken care of by our CSR arm, the Supertron Foundation. It is focused entirely towards education and skill development for underprivileged children. Having established close to 50 education and computer training centers in West Bengal, the Supertron Foundation is working towards its goal of passing knowledge and digital skills to the children in need. We have also set up a Mobile and Computer Repairing Center in Karnataka, where children can acquire practical skills that not only prepare them for employment but also empower them to start their own repair businesses. The vision for a self reliant youth, contributing to a bright future is the idea that has brought shape to these initiatives.
Rajeev: What are Supertron’s growth and opportunity plans for 2025, and how do you aim to achieve them?
Vibhor: For 2025, Supertron plans to further strengthen its presence in both the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and B2B sectors. Capitalising on our move into several new business verticals including Smart Classes, ICT, and Cloud solutions, Supertron is well-positioned for sustained growth and success in the coming years to follow. This strategic focus will enable us to drive long-term value for the organization and cater to the ever evolving market demands.
