In a recent interview, Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal spoke to Arpit Jain, Founder and CEO, GreedyGame to know about the growth of this industry and many more important aspects. Rajeev: What inspired you to start GreedyGame? Please tell us about the growth of your company?

Arpit: GreedyGame was founded in 2013 with a clear goal in mind: to transform mobile advertising by adopting a user-driven approach. Back then, mobile ads were intrusive and annoying, leading to interruptions for users and low conversion rates for advertisers. We recognized the potential of native advertising for gaming apps, and we were among the pioneers to offer publishers advanced native formats long before even Google and Facebook. 

As time passed, we continued to innovate and evolve, expanding our platform to meet the diverse needs of publishers (apps and websites both). Today, our platform empowers publishers to acquire users, monetize them & maximize their revenues by having advanced tools and gaining valuable insights to enhance their business growth trajectory. We are proud to have set industry standards by focusing on engaging audiences with attractive and profitable ad experiences.

As a result of our relentless pursuit of excellence, we have become a trusted industry leader and a Google Channel Partner, working with over1500 publishers and 500+ advertisers. 

Our company has expanded geographically with offices in Bengaluru and Delhi in India, as well as in the United States. With the help of our team and cutting-edge technology, we are proud to have supported multiple publishers in their growth journey. Rajeev: How do you stay on top of emerging technologies and market trends?

Arpit: At GreedyGame, we understand the importance of staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and market trends to provide the best solutions for our clients. To achieve this, we have a dedicated team that is constantly researching and analyzing the latest developments in the industry. Additionally, we have established partnerships with leaders in the field, such as Google, InMobi and Pubmatic, which help us stay ahead of the curve and anticipate technological changes. By leveraging these resources, we can ensure that we are always offering the most innovative and effective solutions to our clients.

Rajeev: Rajeev: Your financial target in the last FY was 17.5 million. What is your target for ARR in the current FY? How do you plan to achieve this target?

A

Arpit: More than ARR, the target which matters to us is the number of publishers and apps that we work with. We want to keep on doubling that number every year. To achieve this target, we plan to continue our momentum of creating new features and products that aid publishers in their monetization and user acquisition efforts. Additionally, we remain focused on expanding globally and building a robust adtech platform that caters to the needs of our clients. We also aim to ensure that our customer support system is efficient and effective in addressing any concerns or issues faced by our users. By implementing these strategies, we are confident in our ability to achieve our ARR targets for the current fiscal year.

Rajeev: Can you please tell us about your business model? How do you help website and app developers create user-friendly apps?

A

Arpit: Our business model is centered around assisting app and website developers in monetizing their content and acquiring relevant users, thereby creating user-friendly apps and websites. Our innovative and advanced products deliver high fill rates with relevant and contextual ads to users, analyze their behavior, and drive user engagement. Additionally, we provide publishers with tools and insights to optimize their ad revenue and improve user experience, such as real-time reporting, A/B testing, analytics, etc.

At our core, we operate on a revenue-sharing model. This model allows us to align our interests with those of our clients, ensuring that we are invested in their success. By partnering with us, website and app developers can focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly apps, while we take care of monetizing their content through targeted advertising.

Rajeev: What are your long-term goals for GreedyGame? How do you see the company evolving over the next 5-10 years?

A

Arpit: Our vision is to make advertising seamless and efficient for publishers. We are always looking to enhance the user experience by creating all possible tools for publishers so that they can focus on their apps or website. To achieve this, we plan to invest in research and development to develop new ad formats, targeting techniques, and data-driven insights that will help publishers and advertisers better understand their audience and create more engaging ads. We also plan to leverage emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning to create more personalized and relevant ad experiences for users, and also help in gathering insightful data points. 

In addition, we look to continue our global expansion plan. We have already seen good traction in countries like the US, UK, Indonesia, Morocco, Egypt, Thailand, etc. Further, we will focus on building a strong team of talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and excellence. We will continue to invest in our people and foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Rajeev: GreedyGame has recently launched PubScale, could you please take us through PubScale's services and how it works?

A

Arpit: PubScale is an innovative AI-powered SaaS platform designed specifically for publishers. It serves as a comprehensive one-stop platform for growth and monetization of mobile apps and websites. It integrates various monetization and user acquisition tools, simplifying the process for publishers and advertisers alike.
