Sirion Labs, a global player in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), has partnered with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to modernize its technology foundation and deliver secure, scalable, AI-driven contract intelligence for enterprises worldwide. In a recent conversation with Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal, Aditya Gupta, Chief Technology Officer at Sirion, shares how OCI is helping the company overcome critical performance, security, and scalability challenges while powering the next phase of AI innovation.
In this interview, Aditya explains the business objectives behind this digital modernization, the challenges that led to adopting OCI, and how Oracle’s cloud and AI ecosystem is shaping the future of Sirion’s CLM capabilities.
Rajeev: What were the key objectives behind your digital modernization journey, and how did these align with Sirion’s broader business goals?
Aditya : Our digital modernization journey was driven by three clear, measurable objectives. First, we aimed to enable faster global releases to shorten deployment cycles and improve overall agility. Second, we focused on reducing analytics latency to ensure quicker, more responsive AI-driven contract intelligence during peak workloads. Third, we prioritized achieving consistent compliance across more than 70 country deployments to meet stringent data-sovereignty and audit requirements. To support these goals, we selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for its global reach, robust built-in security, and cost-efficient performance.
Rajeev: Before adopting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, what were the major challenges Sirion faced in data security, analytics performance, and system scalability?
Aditya : As our customer base and AI workloads expanded rapidly, we began encountering several critical challenges. We faced latency variance during AI inference at scale, region-specific data residency requirements in our multi-tenant SaaS deployments, and increasing operational overhead to maintain consistent performance across quarterly releases. OCI resolved these issues by offering bare-metal performance for predictable low latency, region-level controls to meet data-residency needs, and a unified security model with encryption at rest and in transit, supported by customer-managed keys for enhanced compliance. Additionally, OCI’s access to the latest GPU and generative AI hardware within key regions enabled Sirion to host advanced AI workloads closer to customers, significantly reducing inference latency and increasing throughput. This next-generation infrastructure also accelerated innovation within Sirion, removing previous hardware limitations and empowering our R&D teams to experiment, iterate, and deliver new AI features much faster.
Rajeev: How has Oracle Cloud Infrastructure enhanced deployment speed, cost efficiency, and client experience globally?
Aditya : By re-architecting our deployment pipeline on OCI, we successfully standardized and automated releases across all environments. This transformation delivered several key results: global rollouts became significantly faster through OCI-integrated CI/CD pipelines and observability tools; cost efficiency improved through autoscaling clusters and flexible compute options that reduced idle capacity and lowered the cost per processed contract; and customer experience strengthened with sub-200ms p95 response times and zero-downtime feature updates, ensuring uninterrupted productivity for enterprise users. Collectively, these improvements have created a faster, smoother, and more reliable experience for Sirion’s customers around the world.
Rajeev: How has Oracle’s AI and cloud ecosystem empowered real-time analytics for your customers?
Aditya : Data-driven intelligence is central to Sirion’s value proposition, and Oracle’s AI and cloud ecosystem has been instrumental in powering real-time analytics. Our multi-model, agentic AI architecture blends domain-specific contract models with large language models hosted on OCI to deliver explainable and reliable insights. OCI’s data services ensure secure data ingestion, lineage tracking, and feature storage for millions of contracts, while OCI Generative AI services enable fine-tuning of LLMs for tasks such as issue detection, clause deviation, and redlining, all governed with explainability. On the user side, AI agents like Extraction, Issue Detection, and Redline generate insights aligned to each customer’s unique playbook, ensuring both transparency and trust. Together, OCI’s scalable AI stack and Sirion’s architecture provide real-time, explainable intelligence across the entire contract lifecycle.
Rajeev: How have Oracle’s security capabilities strengthened Sirion’s data-protection and governance framework?
Aditya : Security and trust form the foundation of the Sirion platform, and OCI enhances these pillars through a layered, automated, and auditable security model. OCI provides strong data protection with AES-256 encryption for data and backups, along with TLS 1.2+ for all data transmissions. Customer-managed keys through OCI KMS offer granular control over encryption, while fine-grained RBAC and tenancy isolation support even the most regulated workloads. OCI’s managed security services further strengthen our governance by streamlining patching, threat detection, and compliance reporting. These capabilities ensure we continue to deliver an AI-driven CLM platform that combines enterprise-grade security with continuous innovation.
Rajeev: Looking ahead, how will Oracle’s AI and cloud innovations shape the next phase of Sirion’s roadmap?
Aditya : Looking forward, Sirion and Oracle are deepening their collaboration across two strategic areas. First, we are advancing ERP connectivity through Oracle Integration Cloud to deliver deeper native integration with Oracle ERP, enabling seamless synchronization of supplier and contract data. Second, we are focusing on scalable AI hosting by leveraging OCI Generative AI dedicated clusters for secure fine-tuning of customer-specific playbooks, complete with built-in retrieval, versioning, and explainability. These innovations will further strengthen Sirion’s vision of delivering AI-native contract lifecycle management that is transparent, compliant, and scalable for global enterprises.
