India’s storage and surveillance solutions market is witnessing remarkable growth, fueled by technological innovations, the rising demand for enhanced security, and the rapid expansion of digital infrastructures across various sectors. To know more about the company’s growth and future plans, Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal recently had an exclusive conversation with Yogesh Agrawal, CEO & Co-Founder, and Nitin Bansal, Co-Founder and Director, Consistent Infosystems.

Rajeev: Over the course of your 15-year journey, your product portfolio has continued to expand. What are your thoughts on this evolution?

Yogesh: Initially, our surveillance offerings were limited to a small rack. Over time, this has evolved into an entire dedicated section, reflecting significant growth. Each year, the product range continues to expand within the surveillance segment, and we are optimistic about achieving positive results.

Nitin: Next year, we plan to add an additional product rack, with high hopes for continued growth.

Rajeev: Which are your top three favorite products from Consistent that are currently making an impact in the market?

Nitin: In the IT sector, particularly in SSD memory, we are number one in India. Currently, we are focusing more on the surveillance segment, with significant growth in our cameras, PoE switches, and other related products.

Rajeev: How has your partnership network evolved over the past 15 years, and what has been the key to fostering these relationships?

Yogesh: Over time, we have been gradually expanding our branches, and with this expansion, our sales team has been actively extending services. This growth has led to an increase in partner connections. We have 3,500 dealers and distributors, reflecting the significant growth of our channel.

Rajeev: Looking ahead to 2025, what kind of growth do you anticipate?

Nitin: It's challenging to provide an estimate at this moment, as one quarter is still remaining. However, we remain optimistic about growth this year, particularly with our focus on surveillance. We expect significant growth in this area and are hopeful for strong performance and positive results.

Rajeev: What factors do you believe will contribute to your success this time?

Yogesh: Today, when speaking with our partners, they highlighted that our consistent focus on product development is key to our success. They emphasized that success is a natural byproduct of continuous effort. If you introduce a product and then abandon it, the outcomes can be unpredictable. However, when you consistently invest in and refine a product, trust with partners grows, leading to positive results.

Rajeev: How have you built trust among partners?

Nitin: It has been a journey of nearly 15 years, during which we have built strong trust with our partners. We remain hopeful that this trust will continue to grow in the future.

What is the target market for Consistent, and how does the brand ensure it meets the needs of this audience?

Nitin: Consistent is a brand that caters to the mass community in India, and our target market aligns with this focus. We primarily aim at B and C-class cities, offering products designed for the masses. As a result, our primary focus is on both affordability and quality.

Rajeev: What progress has Consistent made in expanding into smaller cities, and what are your goals for reaching untapped markets?

Yogesh: We still have significant expansion ahead. We have a plan to cover 180 cities, primarily based on population size. Currently, we have reached around 50 cities, and we are targeting an additional 30-40 cities this year. Our goal is to reach major cities with populations of 300,000 and above by the end of the year.

Rajeev: What message do you have for your long-term partners?

Nitin: My wish for our partners is that, just as you have grown with us in the IT sector, we continue to focus on mutual growth. With our emphasis now shifting to surveillance, we aim to grow together in this new segment. I wish you all the very best for the year ahead, 2025.

Yogesh: Just as our partners have supported us in the IT sector, we hope to receive the same support in the surveillance segment. Together, we will continue to grow.
