Consistent Infosystems has been bringing most affordable and best quality SSDs for customers in India in last few years. The company has recorded remarkable growth and now expanding their reach in global market as well. Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal recently interacted with Mr. Yogesh Agrawal, CEO and Co-founder, Consistent Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. He spoke about their performance, expansion plan and product strategy. Read below the conversation.
Rajeev: How has been your performance so far in CY 2023?
Yogesh: We have been awarded the title of Highest Selling SSD Brand and Fastest Growing Indian IT Brand by various organizations. We are witnessing 4 times the sales since 2019 with double-digit growth YoY. In the Year 2022, we witnessed considerable growth with remarkable sales and distribution numbers in all of our product categories. Among all the major product categories that we are selling, we rank among top two vendors. Also, we hold a significant share of the product line in the market. In 2023 we will increase our reach by increasing stocking points and increasing service points which will in long term increase our market share of the product.
Last year, we introduced surveillance consumer products. We have also started selling in international markets increasing our presence in international markets. Right now, we are selling in 9 countries. We are planning to increase our footprint in international market. In Nepal, we are number 1 SSD Brand.
Rajeev: How do you serve your customers with the best quality products across segments?
Yogesh: Consistent believes in building a ‘Customer-Centric Culture’ and we make sure that the quality of our product. We have an in-house Research & Development division which helps in testing our product through rigorous process. Plus, we also conduct a proper market research before launching any new product in the market. This financial year, we are planning to launch new gaming and IT peripherals product line.
Rajeev: How do you prioritize and maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction?
Yogesh: We have invested heavily in technology so that our customer can get a detailed review of our each and every process. We are following Amazon style delivering process where customer will receive regular update from purchasing to delivery stage. All the things are updated and the customers need not to call us for any updates. They can get their purchase numbers, invoices over Whatsapp. They can also log into our website portal for tracking. We also follow 36 check point procedure to make sure that no damaged goods reach our customers. After delivery, we take feedback from our customer and customer feedback rating is always 4.6 out of 5.
Rajeev: How do you ensure best-in-class service support for your customers across India?
Yogesh: Today, Consistent has 20+ branches, more than 3500+ channel partners, and 55+ service centres across the country ensuring the best customer satisfaction and excellent after-sales support making them stand out of the crowd. The brand works closely with its partners and has been able to manage a good TAT of around 15 minutes for walking customers in almost all physical service centers. And for outside service center locations, it takes 1 to 2 days max to resolve almost all service/replacement issues across the country. Consistent offers 5 years replacement warranty on all its SSDs and 3 years on Motherboards making them the best in the industry.
This all is possible due to our customized software where we monitor data from our all service centers where we individually follow each case and close them as soon as possible. We have increased 3rd partner service centers but we have ensured their service is on time making our after sales services more customers friendly.
Rajeev: How are you planning to expand your channel network to serve the customers in all regions?
Yogesh: CONSISTENT has grown successfully over the years and has increased its footprint across all major states in India. Today the company has 20+ branches, a portfolio of 275+ products, 55+ Service centers, and more than 3500+ channel partners in PAN India ensuring complete customer satisfaction. By the end of 2023, Consistent aims to cover 180 cities across 24 States. The brand is already present in all the major Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities with upto 3 lakh populations and is targeting to cover Tier 3 cities with 1 lakh population. In terms of profit, Consistent is witnessing 4 times the sales since 2019 with double-digit YoY growth. The brand is aiming to achieve a substantial growth percentage in terms of revenue in this financial year.
