Rajeev: How do you see the growth of Indian PC component market? What are the major trends that you’re most excited about?
Sujay: According to IDC report, the Indian PC market grew by 7.1% YoY, with 3.39 million units shipped in Q2 2024. Desktops saw a significant growth of 5.9% YoY in Q2 2024. The consumer/ Gaming GPU market has contributed significantly to the components industry due to the growing Gaming industry, AI/ Machine learning, e-sport growth, and VFX/editors, which increased demand for powerful GPUs.
Rajeev: Could you shed some light on Colorful's product offerings for Indian customers, and why do you think they resonate well with this market?
Sujay: With its vast 20+ year history, Colorful has always envisioned bringing value for money and the best GPUs and laptops for young and enthusiastic gamers to the Indian market. With growing and evolving market demands, Colorful has always been determined to innovate and provide the best-in-class products to meet different industry demands.
Rajeev: How do you ensure effective after-sales support for your customers in India? Can you share details about your service support infrastructure?
Sujay: Our vision is not only to provide value-for-money products but also we are committed to ensuring a healthy aftersales ecosystem. We currently have a nationwide tie-up with our distributor and third-party IT service centre for our GPU and Gaming Notebook products. We also have a dedicated service team, helpline number and email support (indiaservice@colorful.com.cn) to reach out to the brand.
Rajeev: What steps does Colorful take to work closely with its partners and distributors in India to ensure product availability and meet market demand?
Sujay: We value all our channel partners and ensure that we sustain a long, healthy relationship. We are focused on building a strong channel network, considering market feedback/ communication from time to time, developing a sales and marketing program to support our partners, managing inventory efficiently to meet demand and supply, and maintaining healthy competition for efficient sales and evolving market trends.
Rajeev: What are Colorful’s growth targets for the current FY, and how do you plan to achieve them?
Sujay: We are the youngest and the only 4th brand in the world who has complete line of products from GPUs, to Gaming Notebooks, to Motherboards, to Storage products to Cabinets and Power Supply. Colorful in India has been growing year over year, introducing their established products to Indian market from their vast product basket. We are focused more on incremental growth in future, thus hoping to create a more stable and sustainable business for our distributors and channel partners. Our sales team, and marketing program is committed to achieve our desired goals.
