In this conversation, Sujay Pais, Country Head, Colorful India shares insights on the company’s performance in CY 2024, strategic goals for 2025, and the opportunities Colorful aims to capture in Indian market.
Rajeev: How did your business perform in CY 2024? What were the key factors that contributed to this success?
Sujay: In today’s dynamic market, a company’s business performance reflects its ability to effectively execute strategies, utilize resources, and deliver value to its stakeholder. In CY 2024, besides performing well in revenue growth, we had success in our overall development as a brand in terms of successfully launching Gaming Laptops in India in association with Flipkart, and establishing steady channel network for VGA business with help of RP Tech India Limited who has optimizing processes to ensure timely delivery, strong channel reach and enhanced productivity.
Rajeev: What are your key business objectives for 2025? How do you plan to achieve them?
Sujay: In a highly competitive environment where performance, innovation, and user experience drive success, Colorful aims to maintain industry leadership and meet the evolving expectations of gamers by setting simple yet effective objectives for 2025. The company is committed to strengthening gaming community engagement and building brand loyalty by creating an interactive ecosystem through events, gaming tournaments, and rewards programs that enhance both channel and consumer engagement.
This approach aims to refocus attention on delivering the best experience to gamers and helping them ‘Level Up’ their gameplay. Additionally, Colorful plans to provide competitive pricing and ensure greater accessibility through its value-for-money offerings across entry-level, mid-range, and high-end GPUs, motherboards, and laptops. Another key focus will be on increasing strategic partnerships with channel partners, esports organizations, developers, and content creators to further expand market reach and deepen community impact.
Rajeev: What new opportunities do you foresee emerging in your industry?
Sujay: NVIDIA GeForce GPUs have significant business opportunities in India, given the country's growing in gaming, AI, and cloud computing markets. Here are some key areas where we would like to strengthen our position. To begin with Gaming and Esports Growth- India’s gaming industry is rapidly expanding, with a rising demand for high performance GPUs. Secondly, AI Adoption- AI-driven applications in healthcare, finance, and automation are increasing and we want to be part of their growth in such industries in India. Lastly, Cloud Computing & Data Centers- India is witnessing a surge in cloud computing and data center infrastructure and we would like to contribute in these with our high-performance GPUs and components.
Rajeev: What is your current channel strength, and how do you plan to enhance your channel ecosystem in 2025?
Sujay: In association with RP Tech India, we can take leverage on their strengths with a pan India distribution network of 52 branches, 50 service centers and 67 warehouses, we would be able to cater to the technology requirements of 10665 channel partners in 724 locations across India. With their Ethical business practices and highest business efficiency, we can provide value addition to our channel partners through pre-sale activities, solutions design, technical support, credit support and warranty management services.
Rajeev: What new product categories or services are you planning to introduce in 2025?
Sujay: We have kicked off the year with a successfully launch of our new RTX 50 Series GPUs in India. Being frontier in the technological innovation, we want to bring new technologies to India and thus empower the consumers with latest technological products. We will be launching our Gaming Motherboards and RTX 50 Series and Consumer Laptops in India in 2025.
