Rajeev: How has the brand BIWIN positioned itself in a highly competitive Indian market? How was the FY 2022-23 for BIWIN?
Rajesh: BIWIN is very well placed and prepared to take advantage of its world leading quality manufacturing capabilities coupled with worldwide brand recognition of both Acer and HP along with its Indian distributers and their wide established networks. Over the last few years, we have been focussing on expanding our reach in ACER branded storage products by leveraging the strength of our national Distributer Fortune Marketing with its broad network and experience in the IT storage industry.
We are also expanding our reach for HP branded storage products (internal and external SSD’s) by leveraging the strength of our national distributers viz- UR Distree Pvt. Ltd. and Fortune Marketing Pvt Ltd. along with their wide network of channel partners and retailers and e-tailers. We have grown double digit in India in the last few years and our strategy is to continue to closely work with Indian channel partner ecosystem along with online customers
Rajeev: Can you please elaborate about your product portfolio? Which brands are you manufacturing for currently in India.
Rajesh: BIWIN Storage Technology Company Limited produces high quality flash storage and is now known in OEM/ODM, consumer, corporate and industrial segments for its independent development capabilities in hardware, software, firmware and storage algorithms. Additionally, BIWIN is a globally licensed manufacturer and marketer for HP branded SSD, Acer Branded SSD, DRAM, SD cards, USB products and Predator Branded SSD and DRAM.
Rajeev: How has the rise of esports market played a pivotal role in the growth of storage product market?
Rajesh: The rise of esports has been a catalyst in growth of high performance SSD’s and Drams. The Predator branded memory and personal storage solutions are just the perfect pick for hardcore PC gamers and esports professionals who seek high-end gaming solutions to ensure a competitive edge. BIWIN focuses on providing customers with more competitive and high-quality hardware and software storage solutions. BIWIN products and services include SSDs, embedded storage chips, memory cards, memory modules, and customization services.
Rajeev: Being a leading brand in the DRAM and Flash Storage Field, how do you focus on bringing the most reliable products for your customers?
Rajesh: BIWIN's experience in manufacturing includes its complete packaging, testing, and production lines at its latest 110,000 m2 facility, BIWIN Huizhou Science and Technology Zone. This state-of-the-art facility houses all the latest production equipment for assembly, packaging, testing and mass production-- including wafer receiving optical inspection, wafer taping, laser stealth dicing, wafer back grinding, wafer expander, wafer laser grooving, wafer saw, die bonding, plasma cleaning, wire bonding and post-bonding AI inspection, wire bond pull testing, compression molding, laser marking, solder ball mounting, package singulation, and automated optical inspection and ball scan.
For embedded computing, BIWIN makes eMMC, eMCP, ePOP, uMCP, BGA SSD, UFS, DDR, LPDDR and small capacity storage.
