Feeling melancholic in remembrance of his late father Late Mr Manohar Lal Arora, who was a constant source of inspiration, Ravinder reflects on how his father has always been his role model. 'He was my hero and always will be,' he says. His father, who worked in the Delhi administration, was known for being full of life. His friends often affectionately referred to him as 'Maharaj.’
The phrase, "A child is the father of the man," holds profound truth. With a wealth of experience, a father, the first man in a child's life, often shares heartfelt "man-to-man" conversations with his children. During these exchanges, he reflects on the life lessons and values that guided him to success. While highlighting some of these qualities, he mentioned Integrity as “the foundation of trust and respect.” “My father always demonstrated honesty and consistency in his values, that I carry now by being transparent and reliable in all areas of my life.”
Another significant characteristic of a man is Resilience, which enabled him to face “challenges with strength and perseverance. The ability to bounce back from adversity is invaluable,” and Ravinder credits his father for instilling this essential trait in him.
Strong Work Ethic is another value that "often drives success and demonstrates responsibility." Ravinder's father exemplified this by working tirelessly to provide for and support the entire family. This dedication has inspired Ravinder to stay motivated and focused on achieving his long-term goals.
Happiness is vital to living a complete life, Ravinder remembers his father for his “Sense of Humour and Joy” he shared with his family that made his family perfect. “Laughter is often contagious, and a good sense of humor can make life's challenges easier to face. My father had the ability to lighten up tough moments with humor or joy, it's a quality that now brings warmth and balance to my life.”
