NetApp has announced the appointment of Subhojit Roy as Area Partner Lead for India and SAARC. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving partner ecosystem strategy, strengthening engagement with Global System Integrators, and accelerating joint growth initiatives across key enterprise and emerging markets in the region.

The appointment further reinforces NetApp’s continued emphasis on a partner-first approach, as enterprises across India and SAARC increasingly accelerate their adoption of hybrid cloud, data management, and AI-driven infrastructure solutions. The region remains a strategic growth engine for the company, where strong ecosystem collaboration plays a central role in customer transformation journeys.

With over 25 years of extensive experience across enterprise technology sales and partner management, Subhojit Roy brings deep expertise in building and scaling global partner ecosystems. His career spans leadership roles across Global SIs, key accounts, SMB, channel, and distribution segments, with a strong focus on value based solution selling and enterprise growth.

Prior to joining NetApp, Roy spent more than 11 years at Commvault, where he most recently served as Global Head of GSI Partnerships. In this role, he led global system integrator alliances, driving strategic collaborations and strengthening enterprise adoption across key markets. His tenure was marked by a strong emphasis on partnership led growth and ecosystem development.

Before Commvault, he held leadership positions at Oracle, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and APC, where he contributed to sales strategy, partner development, and enterprise account expansion across diverse industry segments.

Subhojit Roy is widely recognized for his ability to proactively identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive structured opportunity development to achieve market share objectives. His strengths in partner and customer relationship management have consistently resulted in large enterprise wins, repeat business, and long term strategic collaborations.

In his new mandate at NetApp, he is expected to play a key role in strengthening alliances with global and regional system integrators, enabling co innovation, and supporting customers in their transition toward modern data infrastructure platforms.
