Palo Alto Networks has appointed Rajeev K Abichandani as Director – Channels for India and SAARC, strengthening its regional leadership team as cybersecurity demand accelerates across cloud-first and AI-driven enterprise environments.
In his new role, Abichandani will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s channel growth strategy across India and SAARC, with a focus on deepening partner engagement, strengthening ecosystem alignment, and driving adoption of platform-based cybersecurity solutions across enterprise and mid-market customers.
India and the broader SAARC region continue to emerge as one of the most dynamic cybersecurity growth markets globally, driven by rapid digital transformation, expanding cloud adoption, and increasing exposure to sophisticated cyber threats. Prior to this appointment, he served at as Head – Enterprise Channels & MSSP for India & SAARC at Fortinet, where he was instrumental in strengthening partner ecosystems and expanding managed security services across the region. His experience in building structured channel frameworks and scaling MSSP engagement has been widely recognized within the cybersecurity industry.
