OnePlus India has announced its festive sales offers across its portfolio of smartphones, tablets and audio products. At a time when smartphone prices in India climbed 16% on average in H1 2026, OnePlus held its average price increase to just 8%, reducing the impact on customers. According to Counterpoint Research, smartphone prices in India rose 16% on average in the first half of 2026, driven by rising memory costs and a weaker rupee, with phones priced below INR 10,000 seeing hikes of around 32%. Despite the turbulent times, OnePlus kept its average increase to 8%, half the industry average, and its largest single price increase was 12% compared with 113% for the rest of the industry.
Despite an industry-wide slump, OnePlus was the fastest-growing brand among the top five on online channels in the above INR 20,000 price bands in Q2 2026, and the No. 1 brand online in the INR 30,000 to INR 45,000 band. Tarun Pathak, Research Director at Counterpoint Research, noted that OnePlus managed to raise prices less than the market while still growing.
