“We Are Targeting ₹1,000 Crore Revenue Mark In The FY 2026-27”

In FY2025-26, Bluecom registered approximately 63% year-on-year growth and achieved revenue of ₹568 crore. This Financial year, we are targeting the ₹1,000 crore revenue mark.

Bluecom Infotech has strengthened its position in India’s technology distribution landscape through long-standing brand partnerships and a strong channel focus. In this conversation, Biren Yadav, CEO & MD, Bluecom Infotech, speaks with Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal, about market trends, Lenovo’s portfolio, Bluecom’s growth journey, its ₹1,000-crore ambition, and the company’s vision for partners.

Rajeev: Bluecom has a long-standing association with Lenovo. How do you see the current portfolio and the response from the market?

Biren Yadav: Bluecom has been associated with Lenovo since the brand established its presence in India, and we distribute its entire commercial portfolio. We are proud of our contribution to Lenovo’s commercial business nationally.

The portfolio itself is very exciting because it covers a wide range of commercial products, including ThinkPad, ThinkBook and ThinkCentre, along with Lenovo’s commercial tablet and display offerings. Lenovo has a strong position globally, and within the SMB segment in which we operate, the brand has maintained a leading position over the past several quarters.

For us, the most encouraging aspect is the contribution we are making to these segments. We have built strong capabilities around Lenovo’s commercial portfolio, and that partnership continues to be an important part of our growth journey.

Rajeev: What is driving the growth for Bluecom in the tablet segment?

Biren Yadav: Tablets have become an important growth segment for us. We are among the highest contributors in Lenovo’s tablet business, and the segment continues to expand. The broader commercial portfolio is also evolving rapidly. Customers are looking for devices that can support mobility, productivity and changing workplace requirements. Lenovo has a strong portfolio across these categories, and our role is to ensure that the products reach the right partners and customers with the necessary support.

Rajeev: The market has also witnessed significant price increases in the laptop and desktop segment. How has this affected demand and, consequently, your business?

Biren Yadav: There has certainly been a significant increase in prices over the last six to eight months. In some cases, some products that were priced around ₹50,000 are now closer to ₹1 lakh. Normally, such an increase would be expected to put pressure on unit demand.

However, our recent performance has demonstrated that the market opportunity remains strong. Last month, Bluecom achieved its highest-ever monthly unit sales in the company’s history. I am referring specifically to units rather than revenue. Despite the price increase, our volumes actually increased significantly.

This indicates that there is underlying demand in the market. The requirement exists, and businesses and customers continue to invest in technology where they see value. Our focus has been on being present on the ground and responding to that demand effectively.

Rajeev: Looking ahead, how do you see the distribution market evolving, and where does Bluecom see its next phase of growth?

Biren Yadav: India is going through a very exciting phase. There is a clear opportunity in the market, but to capitalise on it, businesses need to remain close to the ground and understand what customers and partners actually require.

At Bluecom, we have a strong foundation and are now moving into our second generation of leadership. That gives us an additional responsibility to take the organisation to the next level. We have already seen strong growth. In FY2025-26, Bluecom registered approximately 63% year-on-year growth and achieved revenue of ₹568 crore. This Financial year, we are targeting the ₹1,000 crore revenue mark.

It is an ambitious target, but we are working hard towards it. The market response gives us confidence that there is a substantial opportunity ahead, and our focus will remain on executing well and building sustainable growth.

Rajeev: What would be your message to partners who are already working with Bluecom, as well as those who have not yet partnered with the company?

Biren Yadav: Our partners are extremely important to us. They have contributed significantly to the journey we are on, and we value that relationship deeply. To our existing partners, I would simply say thank you for being part of this journey. Your contribution has helped us reach where we are today.

For partners who have not yet worked with us, I would invite them to explore the opportunity and join hands with Bluecom. There is a lot that we can build together. The distribution ecosystem is going through a period of change, and during such times, it becomes even more important to do the right things, at the right time and in the right manner.

For us, the fundamentals have always remained important. We have not compromised on our basic ethics and principles, and that approach has helped us build long-term relationships.

Rajeev: What is the next benchmark you have set for yourself and Bluecom?

Biren Yadav: We are always looking at the next level. We recently set ourselves another benchmark, and the team is already working towards it. The objective is not simply to achieve a number, but to continue building an organisation that is stronger, more sustainable and more valuable to our partners.

Our journey is still evolving, and there is a lot more that we want to accomplish. For me, the focus will remain on staying grounded, supporting the ecosystem and creating opportunities for our partners and teams to grow along with Bluecom.
