Altos Computing is strengthening its position in India’s enterprise IT landscape with a focus on AI-ready infrastructure, high-performance computing, and data centre solutions. The company continues to drive innovation-led growth and deeper ecosystem engagement across key segments. In an exclusive interaction with DT, Priya Krishnamurthy, Director, Altos Computing, shares insights into overall business performance, AI roadmap, partner strategy, and 2026 priorities.

Q: Please tell us about your overall business performance in FY 2025-26. What have been the most significant factors driving the company’s growth?

A: FY 2025-26 saw healthy business momentum for Altos, driven by growing demand for high-performance computing, AI servers, and scalable data centre solutions. Increased enterprise investments in digital transformation, alongside opportunities in edge and sustainable infrastructure, contributed meaningfully to growth.

Our focus on innovation-led offerings, strategic partnerships, and a customer-centric approach has been central to expanding our market presence and sustaining growth across key segments.

Q: With AI becoming central to innovation, what does your 2026 product roadmap look like, particularly in terms of AI powered advancements?

A: AI is a key focus area in our 2026 roadmap, with continued emphasis on advancing AI servers, high-performance computing platforms, and infrastructure designed to support increasingly complex and data-intensive workloads. Our focus is on enabling customers with scalable, AI-ready solutions that address evolving enterprise and research requirements.

We also see innovation around performance optimization, energy efficiency, and next-generation architectures playing an important role as AI adoption continues to expand across industries.

Q: What concrete steps are you taking to further strengthen partner engagement and long-term channel collaboration?

A: Channel partnerships remain central to our growth strategy, and we are focused on strengthening engagement through closer collaboration, capability building, and greater partner enablement. This includes investing in training, solution support, and go-to-market initiatives that help partners address evolving customer needs more effectively.

We are also focused on building long-term value through deeper ecosystem collaboration, transparent engagement, and programs that support mutual growth and sustained channel success.

Q: How is your organization supporting the Make in India initiative, and what role does localization play in your future growth plans?

A: As part of the Acer Group, which has been associated with manufacturing in India since the 1990s, Altos strongly aligns with the Make in India vision and sees localization as a key pillar of long-term growth. We believe local manufacturing not only strengthens supply chain resilience and responsiveness but also supports the development of a stronger domestic technology ecosystem.

Building on this approach, Altos is also advancing local manufacturing of AI servers in India, supporting the growing demand for high-performance, AI-ready infrastructure. Going forward, localization will continue to play an important role in our strategy, both in expanding capabilities and in supporting India’s emergence as a key technology and manufacturing hub.

Q: What are your top strategic priorities for 2026 across revenue, expansion, and market positioning?

A: Our strategic priorities for 2026 are centered on driving growth across AI servers, high-performance computing, and data centre solutions, while expanding our presence in key enterprise, research, and emerging market segments. A strong focus will also remain on deepening partner ecosystems and scaling opportunities in high-growth areas such as AI and edge infrastructure.

From a market positioning standpoint, we are focused on strengthening Altos’ role as a trusted provider of AI-ready infrastructure through innovation, localization, and customer-centric growth.
