ERULEE is emerging as a focused PC gaming platform in India, addressing the long-standing gap in reliable multiplayer infrastructure through a unified ecosystem that combines gaming, social interaction, and marketplace capabilities. In this exclusive interaction, Rajeev Ranjan, Editor, Digital Terminal, speaks with Samiksh Aggarwal, Founder & Director, ERULEE, on the inspiration behind launching the platform, its early growth journey, and the long-term vision to establish ERULEE as a leading all-in-one gaming hub in India.
Rajeev: What inspired you to launch this modern gaming platform, and what expectations do you have from it?
Samiksh: In India, the conversation around online gaming has largely revolved around mobile, while PC gaming has remained underserved despite a rapidly growing user base. One of the biggest gaps is the lack of reliable, low-latency multiplayer gaming infrastructure within the country.
That’s what inspired us to launch ERULEE. We wanted to create a platform that not only strengthens PC gaming infrastructure but also brings the entire ecosystem together. ERULEE combines a high-performance gaming arena, a social lounge, and a marketplace into one unified experience.
Our expectation is to build a destination where gamers can play, connect, interact and transact seamlessly, essentially a complete digital hub for PC gamers in India.
Rajeev: Since its inception, how has the platform grown so far? Could you share some of the key achievements and milestones?
Samiksh: Even at an early stage, the response has been very encouraging. We have crossed 1,000+ user sign-ups without active commercialization and have kept our game servers open to build early engagement.
Currently, our servers are live in Kolkata, Bangalore, and Mumbai, supporting 18 games across genres. So far, over more than 4000 unique gamers have played on our India-based servers. These early numbers reflect both the demand for localized infrastructure and the opportunity in the PC gaming space.
Rajeev: How does ERULEE differentiate itself from other gaming and community platforms in India?
Samiksh: Most platforms in India are heavily focused on mobile gaming, while PC-focused solutions tend to lean toward cloud infrastructure, where users are expected to manage their own servers.
ERULEE simplifies this entirely. We professionally host, manage, maintain and upgrade game servers, allowing gamers to focus purely on gameplay without technical barriers. This managed approach is unique in India.
What further differentiates us is our integrated ecosystem of gaming, community interaction through our social lounge, and a dedicated marketplace is all under one platform. It’s designed to be more than just a service; it’s a complete digital ecosystem created for gamers.
Rajeev: How is ERULEE building a strong and loyal gamer community across casual players, creators, and e-sports enthusiasts?
Samiksh: Community is at the core of everything we’re building at ERULEE. Our approach is to create value for every type of gamer whether they play casually, create content, or compete professionally.
We start by delivering a reliable, low-latency gaming experience through India-based servers, which is fundamental to player retention. Beyond gameplay, our social lounge enables gamers to connect, share, and build communities around common interests.
We are also focused on enabling creators and e-sports enthusiasts through initiatives like contests, tournaments, visibility opportunities, and community engagement features. Combined with our marketplace, which allows users to buy and sell gaming-related products, we’re creating an ecosystem where users don’t just participate, they belong.
Rajeev: How do you see the future of gaming, e-sports, and digital communities in India over the next five years?
Samiksh: India’s gaming industry has seen significant momentum over the last five to six years, driven by better internet access, faster speeds, and affordable data. However, we believe the market is still in its early growth phase.
Over the next five years, gaming will increasingly move beyond entertainment and evolve into a mainstream career avenue. With Gen Z already exploring opportunities in e-sports, content creation, and game development, the ecosystem is set for rapid expansion.
We expect digital communities to play a central role in this evolution, shaping how gamers connect, collaborate, and grow within the industry.
Rajeev: Looking ahead, what is your long-term vision and how do you plan to position the platform as a leading name in this space?
Samiksh: Our long-term vision is to establish ERULEE as a leading, all-in-one gaming hub for PC gamers in India. We want to create a platform where users can access everything they need—gaming, community, and commerce—without having to look elsewhere.
To achieve this, we will continue to invest in infrastructure, expand our offerings, and strengthen community-driven features. Our goal is to build a brand that not only supports gamers but also helps shape the future of the PC gaming ecosystem in India.
