With strong momentum across interactive displays, AI-powered collaboration solutions, and localized manufacturing, Solitaire is steadily strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly evolving market. In this exclusive interaction with DT, Dr. Ramya Chatterjee, CEO, Solitaire Brand Business and Director, Prointek Global Innovations, discusses the company’s growth, expansion of its manufacturing ecosystem, AI-driven product innovation roadmap and partner-focused growth initiatives.

Q: Please tell us about your overall business performance in FY 2025-26. What have been the most significant factors driving the company’s growth?

A: In FY 2025–26, PGIPL delivered a strong business performance with an impressive 42% year-on-year revenue growth, driven by strategic expansion, operational excellence, and continued innovation. One of the key milestones was securing a respectable market share in India’s rapidly growing IFPD & OPS computer segments, reinforcing our position as an emerging & fastest growing industry player. On the manufacturing front, we successfully initiated the IFPD CKD assembly line at Noida and expanded production capacity of our SKD manufacturing facility at Kasna (Greater Noida), significantly enhancing localization and supply chain efficiency.

A major growth driver was the successful launch of our AI-powered software, Solitaire Digital Canvas Pro, which contributed meaningfully to sales growth and strengthened our technology-led value proposition. Simultaneously, we invested heavily in strengthening our pan-India service ecosystem by establishing dedicated repair centers across India through both in-house and outsourced models, ensuring faster and more efficient customer support. Significant marketing initiatives were also undertaken to further strengthen the presence & visibility of brand SOLITAIRE across our target markets. In parallel, we enhanced efficiency across systems and processes, enabling improved scalability, responsiveness, and execution capabilities across the organization.

Q: With AI becoming central to innovation, what does your 2026 product roadmap look like, particularly in terms of AI powered advancements?

A: AI will remain at the core of our innovation strategy in 2026, with a strong focus on creating smarter, more intuitive, and highly collaborative interactive experiences. Building on the successful launch of Solitaire Digital Canvas Pro, our roadmap includes the introduction of advanced AI-driven teaching, collaboration, and productivity tools designed for both education and enterprise environments. We are working on advanced version of collaborative & interactive features such as intelligent content generation, real-time language translation, AI-assisted annotation, meeting summarization, adaptive learning modules, and enhanced handwriting and object recognition capabilities.

In parallel, we are investing in deeper cloud integration, device interoperability, and data-driven analytics to create a more connected digital ecosystem. From a hardware perspective, we are also focusing on next-generation interactive displays with improved performance, enhanced user experience, and tighter AI-software integration. Additionally, we are introducing a complete range of enhanced and improved AI-powered video conferencing cameras equipped with intelligent tracking, auto-framing, noise reduction, and smart collaboration features to address the evolving needs of hybrid learning and modern workspaces. Our broader objective is to position SOLITAIRE as a future-ready technology brand that combines AI, collaboration, and digital transformation into one unified platform for classrooms, boardrooms, and hybrid workspaces.

Q: What concrete steps are you taking to further strengthen partner engagement and long term channel collaboration?

A: Strengthening partner engagement and building long-term channel collaboration remain key strategic priorities for us. We are taking multiple concrete steps to create a more transparent, profitable, and growth-oriented ecosystem for our partners across India. This includes expanding our partner enablement programs through regular product training, technical certifications, solution-based workshops, and AI-focused knowledge sessions to help partners stay aligned with evolving market trends and technologies. We are also investing in stronger pre-sales and post-sales support mechanisms, faster service response systems, and dedicated account management to enhance overall partner experience and customer satisfaction.

In parallel, we are working closely with our channel ecosystem on joint go-to-market initiatives, regional marketing activities, lead generation programs, and vertical-focused business development opportunities across education, enterprise, and government sectors. Our increasing focus on localized manufacturing, improved supply chain capabilities, and a stronger service infrastructure further enables us to offer better delivery timelines, higher reliability, and stronger commercial confidence to our partners.

Additionally, we are continuously enhancing our partner policies, incentive structures, and engagement models to ensure long-term business sustainability and mutual growth. As we expand our portfolio across AI-powered interactive displays, collaboration software, and video conferencing solutions, our objective is to build a highly collaborative ecosystem where partners grow alongside the SOLITAIRE brand and participate meaningfully in the company’s long-term success journey.

Q: How is your organization supporting the Make in India initiative, and what role does localization play in your future growth plans?

A: Supporting the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative is a core part of our long-term growth strategy. Over the past year, we have taken significant steps toward localization by initiating our IFPD CKD assembly line at Noida and fully operationalizing our SKD manufacturing facility at Kasna. These investments have strengthened our manufacturing capabilities, improved supply chain efficiency, reduced dependency on FG imports, and enabled faster response to market requirements.

Localization plays a critical role in our future roadmap, not only from a manufacturing standpoint but also in terms of product customization, service support, software development, and ecosystem integration. By increasing local value addition, we are able to deliver products that are better aligned with the needs of Indian education institutions, enterprises, and government projects while maintaining stronger cost competitiveness and operational agility.

We are also actively working toward expanding local sourcing, developing stronger vendor partnerships within India, and enhancing indigenous R&D capabilities, particularly in AI-powered software, interactive technologies, and collaboration solutions. Our focus is to gradually build a more self-reliant and scalable technology ecosystem that supports both domestic demand and future export opportunities.

Beyond manufacturing, our investments in pan-India service infrastructure, dedicated repair centers, and localized technical support further reinforce our commitment to building a sustainable and customer-centric Indian technology brand. Going forward, localization will continue to remain one of the key pillars driving our operational efficiency, market expansion, and long-term competitiveness.

Q: What are your top strategic priorities for 2026 across revenue, expansion, and market positioning?

A: As we step into FY 2026–27, our top strategic priorities are centered around accelerating revenue growth, strengthening market leadership, expanding manufacturing capabilities, and positioning SOLITAIRE as a globally recognized technology brand. Building on the strong momentum achieved in FY 2025–26, we remain focused on driving sustainable growth through innovation, localization, and operational excellence across all business verticals.

One of our foremost priorities is to establish SOLITAIRE as the No. 1 domestic brand in India across the IFPD, OPS, and AI-powered video conferencing camera segments. We are aggressively expanding our product portfolio with next-generation AI-enabled collaboration and interactive solutions tailored for education, enterprise, and government markets. Simultaneously, we are significantly strengthening our sales, service, and channel ecosystem to deepen market penetration across tier-1, tier-2, and emerging markets.

From manufacturing perspective, we also aim to position ourselves as the most trusted value-added contract manufacturer for IFPD, OPS, and VC products in India. With our CKD and SKD manufacturing facilities now operational, we will continue increasing localization, enhancing production efficiencies, strengthening supply chain capabilities, and expanding local value addition under the Make in India initiative.

Another key strategic focus for FY 2026–27 is global expansion of the SOLITAIRE brand. We are actively working toward building international market presence through strategic partnerships, enhanced product innovation, and globally competitive AI-driven collaboration technologies. Our broader objective is to evolve from being a fast-growing domestic player into a globally respected interactive technology and collaboration solutions brand.

At the same time, we remain committed to continuous improvement across systems, customer experience, partner engagement, and organizational capabilities to ensure scalable, profitable, and long-term sustainable growth.
