Australia to Supply Uranium for India's Civil Nuclear Programme
The agreement aims to support India's civilian nuclear energy programme by enabling the export of Australian uranium under strict international safeguards.
The uranium will be supplied exclusively for peaceful purposes, in line with the AustraliaโIndia Nuclear Cooperation Agreement (2015) and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
