Avenue Supermarts Ltd., the operator of India's leading retail chain DMart, has acquired commercial real estate worth ₹99.27 crore in Thane, Maharashtra, as part of its ongoing expansion strategy.

The deal underscores the company's continued investment in strengthening its retail footprint across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

₹99.27 Crore Commercial Acquisition

According to property registration documents, the transaction was registered on June 30, 2026.

The acquisition includes:

  • 70,298 sq. ft. of commercial space

  • Ground, first, second, and third floors

  • Upper basement

  • 46 car parking spaces

  • 47 two-wheeler parking spaces

The property is located in Kolshet, Thane, one of the fastest-growing commercial and residential hubs in the MMR.

Strategic Expansion in Thane

The purchase reflects DMart's long-term expansion strategy as it continues to invest in high-potential urban markets.

Thane has emerged as a key retail destination due to its rapid infrastructure development, growing residential population, and improving connectivity with Mumbai.
