The decision was taken during the Trust's meeting on July 6, with members acknowledging that the alleged donation theft had affected the temple's reputation and devotees' confidence.
CEO to Oversee Temple Operations
For the first time, the Trust will appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to supervise the day-to-day administration and functioning of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
To identify a suitable candidate, the Trust has formed a three-member search committee comprising:
Justice (Retd.) Pradeep Kohli
Lt. General (Retd.) Vishnukant Chaturvedi
Suresh Haware, former Chairman of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust
The committee has been tasked with recommending a qualified professional to lead the temple's administrative operations.
Leadership Changes Announced
The Trust also confirmed that Krishna Mohan has been appointed as the Interim General Secretary after accepting the resignations of:
Champat Rai
Anil Mishra
The leadership transition is part of the Trust's efforts to strengthen governance and improve transparency.
New Measures to Enhance Transparency
To restore public confidence, the Trust has introduced a new verification mechanism allowing devotees to confirm the receipt of valuable items donated to the temple.
The initiative is aimed at improving accountability and ensuring greater transparency in the handling of offerings made by devotees.
Focus on Restoring Devotees' Faith
Acknowledging that the donation controversy had impacted its public image, the Trust reaffirmed its commitment to rebuilding trust through stronger governance, professional management, and transparent systems.
The appointment of a CEO and the introduction of additional accountability measures are expected to modernize temple administration while reinforcing confidence among millions of devotees.
