Meta has expanded its AI glasses portfolio with the introduction of Ray-Ban Meta Audio, the next-generation Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 and new Meta Glasses collections, further broadening its partnership with EssilorLuxottica. The latest portfolio combines hands-free AI, audio, improved battery life and expanded design choices as Meta builds a wider ecosystem around wearable computing.

A key addition is Muse, a personal AI agent designed to work with AI glasses and help users manage everyday tasks hands-free. The experience is intended to support activities ranging from staying organised and managing calendars to building habits and turning longer-term goals into actionable plans.

By the end of the year, the portfolio is set to offer more than 100 glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses, covering different frame designs, colours and use cases.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio Brings Audio and AI Together

Ray-Ban Meta Audio marks the debut of Meta’s dedicated audio glasses, combining open-ear audio with AI capabilities in a lightweight form factor. Weighing 43 grams, the glasses feature professional-adjustable temple tips, adjustable or swappable nose pads and overextension hinges for all-day comfort.

Designed for music, podcasts, calls and hands-free AI interactions, Ray-Ban Meta Audio delivers up to 12 hours of use on a single charge, with an additional 48 hours available through the included charging case.

The glasses come in 23 colour and lens combinations across two styles, Clubmaster and Burbank. Pre-orders start at $349 in the US, with shipping scheduled from October 13.

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 Gets Longer Battery Life

Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 brings a slimmer design, longer battery life and a customisable action button for direct access to Meta AI. The new generation is available in 27 colour and lens combinations spanning Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer styles.

Battery life has increased to up to nine hours, while a six-microphone array is designed to reduce more than 90% of background noise for clearer calls and voice commands.

The glasses also feature a 12MP camera with 3K Ultra HD video recording and dynamic photos, allowing users to select the preferred frame from captured moments. Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 starts at $449 in the US.

New Meta Glasses Collections Expand Choice

The Meta Glasses portfolio is also expanding with Capri and Nova styles, new markets and additional personalisation options. A new collection developed with international icon LISA introduces the Meta Adventurer LISA Edition and Meta Capri LISA Edition, featuring customised frames and accessories.

Additional limited-edition designs include Meta Fury, while the new Meta Adventurer with a plug-in case starts at $249, making it the most accessible Meta Glasses option introduced so far.

With new hardware, AI capabilities and a broader range of designs and price points, the expanded portfolio strengthens Meta’s push to make AI glasses a practical hands-free interface for communication, entertainment, information and everyday tasks.
