Rupesh Chokshi has been appointed as EVP, Global Business Head of Network Services and Chief Technology Officer, strengthening its executive leadership as enterprises increasingly invest in AI-ready networks, cloud connectivity, and intelligent digital infrastructure.
The appointment underscores Tata Communications' strategy to accelerate innovation across next-generation networking technologies and reinforce its position as a global provider of secure, high-performance digital infrastructure for enterprise customers.
Leading the Next Generation of AI-Driven Networks
In his dual leadership role, Chokshi will head the company's global Network Services business while shaping its technology roadmap. He will oversee product strategy, drive AI-powered network innovation, and strengthen Tata Communications' global infrastructure capabilities to meet the rapidly evolving connectivity requirements of enterprises embracing artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital transformation.
His responsibilities will include advancing software-defined networking, intelligent infrastructure, and secure connectivity solutions that enable organizations to build resilient, scalable, and future-ready digital operations.

Brings More Than Two Decades of Global Technology Leadership
Rupesh Chokshi brings over 25 years of global leadership experience across networking, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity, and software-defined infrastructure. A seasoned operator, he has successfully driven large-scale innovation by aligning product strategy, engineering, and operations across complex enterprise and carrier environments.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Application Security at Akamai Technologies. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at AT&T. Rupesh will lead Tata Communications’ Network Services business, shaping product strategy, advancing AI-led network innovation, and strengthening the company’s global digital infrastructure capabilities.
