Radico Khaitan Limited has strengthened its technology leadership with the appointment of Dr Ashish Shrivastava as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Dr Shrivastava will lead Radico Khaitan’s information technology function and drive initiatives focused on AI-led digital transformation, enterprise technology, technology strategy and digital innovation. Dr Shrivastava is expected to focus on using emerging technologies to enhance operational visibility, improve decision-making and create stronger digital capabilities across the organisation.
His technology agenda will span areas including artificial intelligence, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation, data and analytics and Industry 4.0. 25+ Years of Technology Leadership
Dr Shrivastava brings more than 25 years of experience across technology leadership, digital transformation, enterprise technology, AI, P&L management and large-scale operations. His career has taken him across banking, retail, manufacturing, media, telecom, government and technology services.
Before joining Radico Khaitan, he held senior leadership roles at Financial Software & System (FSS), including Head – Technology and Business Head – Digital Engineering. At FSS, he contributed to technology vision, digital engineering, banking transformation, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, AI and machine learning, automation, cybersecurity and technology operations.
His recent leadership profile also reflects experience in managing large technology businesses, including a hosted business valued at more than ₹500 crore, a 600-member banking transformation service and 12 products. He also worked with cloud environments spanning AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Experience Across Large-Scale Ecosystems
Dr Shrivastava’s leadership experience extends beyond technology services. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Technology Officer at the Punjab State E-Governance Society, where he worked on digital transformation initiatives across government departments.
His government technology experience included programmes covering approximately 30 million citizens, 800 services and 100 applications. He has also held senior technology positions at CMS Infosystems and Allied Blenders & Distillers, where he served as CIO and Head – IT/CIO respectively.
At Reliance Retail, his responsibilities covered enterprise technology, SAP, cloud, AI/RPA, IoT, data analytics, cybersecurity, mobility and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
Across his career, Dr Shrivastava has worked on technology environments involving more than 90 national and international banks, 75,000+ ATMs, 20,000+ retail outlets and 55 manufacturing plants. His experience also includes smart-city initiatives, citizen services, enterprise architecture and Industry 4.0 programmes.
