Infina Finance Private Limited has appointed Ajay Gupta as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Vice President. Bringing more than 19 years of experience across banking, financial services and digital lending, Ajay will take charge of the company’s technology strategy, engineering capabilities and digital transformation agenda.
In his new role, Ajay will focus on shaping and executing Infina Finance’s technology vision while strengthening digital platforms, enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, data and AI capabilities, cybersecurity and technology enablement for business growth. His appointment comes as financial services companies increasingly depend on scalable, secure and digitally driven technology platforms to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.
Commenting on his appointment, Ajay Gupta shared a LinkedIn post announcing his new role at Infina Finance. Extensive BFSI Technology Experience
Before joining Infina Finance, Ajay served as Vice President (Principal Manager – Software Engineering) at Kotak Mahindra Bank. His professional journey also includes technology roles at LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Capgemini, Saraswat Infotech Limited, Beehive Software Services, Tech Mahindra, R Systems and Pragati Software Pvt. Ltd.
Across these organisations, he has developed expertise spanning technology strategy, solution architecture, product development, programme delivery, cloud technologies, data and AI, cybersecurity, Agile methodology and vendor management.
Focus on Digital Lending and Platform Modernisation
A significant part of Ajay’s technology experience has been around building and transforming lending ecosystems. His expertise covers digital onboarding, loan origination, loan management, collections, customer journeys, regulatory integrations and operational automation.
At Infina Finance, this experience is expected to support the company’s efforts to strengthen its digital lending capabilities and build technology platforms that can scale with evolving business and customer requirements. His technology mandate also encompasses enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, engineering and DevSecOps, data and AI, customer experience, platform modernisation and regulatory technology.
