The AI hyperscaler firm CoreWeave has appointed Sandy Venugopal as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Venugopal brings over two decades of extensive experience and will leverage her expertise to lead the companyโs digital transformation efforts. Her focus will be on establishing a strong foundation for growth and resilience while delivering groundbreaking and reliable solutions to clients. Her role will be pivotal in supporting the company's scaling and expansion objectives.
Consistently recognized for her technical expertise, Venugopal excels in redefining program executive business strategies. She has a strong track record of driving transformational change, building strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions.

Prior to joining CoreWeave, Venugopal held several key leadership roles in prominent organizations. She served as a Member of the Board of Directors at The Adecco Group and led SentinelOne's transformational journey as Chief Information Officer. Additionally, she spent over nine years at LinkedIn as Senior Director, overseeing strategic planning and delivery. Venugopal also contributed to Uber for more than four years as Chief Information Officer. Her earlier roles included serving as Project Manager at eMeter and Consultant at Accenture, where she played pivotal roles in driving critical projects and initiatives.

Having a strong educational background, Venugopal holds a B. Sc degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and MBA in Cross-Enterprise Leadership from Ivey Business School at Western University. Later, she also donned a certificate program in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University, and Executive Education in Leading Change and Organisational Renewal from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
