BUSINESSNEXT has appointed Amit Bhatia as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Head of Technology Operations, reinforcing its technology and cybersecurity leadership as the company continues to expand its AI-powered enterprise software platforms for banks and financial institutions worldwide.

In his new role, Bhatia will lead BUSINESSNEXT's cybersecurity strategy, technology operations, cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT governance, and digital transformation initiatives. He will also oversee information security, cyber resilience, technology modernization, operational excellence, and secure cloud environments to support the company's rapidly growing global customer base and AI-driven banking solutions.

Amit Bhatia brings over 26 years of experience across cybersecurity, enterprise technology, cloud transformation, IT operations, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and information security.

Throughout his career, he has led large-scale technology modernization programs, strengthened enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, built secure cloud infrastructures, and implemented digital transformation strategies for organizations operating across financial services and technology sectors.

Before joining BUSINESSNEXT, Bhatia served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Religare Broking Ltd., where he was responsible for cybersecurity strategy, cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, governance, and information security operations.

Earlier, he held the position of Senior Vice President – IT & Data Protection Officer (DPO) at RateGain, leading global IT infrastructure, cloud transformation, cybersecurity operations, enterprise technology, and data privacy initiatives.

His previous leadership experience also includes roles as Associate Vice President – IT Global Operations at Innodata Inc., Associate – Infrastructure Solutions at Dell Technologies, and System Administrator at PepsiCo, where he built extensive expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, IT governance, digital operations, and cybersecurity.
