HDFC Securities has appointed Anand Mathur as its Chief Financial Officer in a strategic move to enhance the company’s financial operations. With his extensive experience in financial strategy and operations, Mathur is expected to strengthen the organization’s financial framework.

Mathur shared his excitement and broke the news of his appointment on professional networking website LinkedIn, stating, “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been appointed as the CFO of HDFC Securities Limited. It is an exciting move in my career, and I’m looking forward to contributing to HSL’s sustainable growth and success.”

Having a focus on operational efficiency, financial strategy, and collaborative working style, he is ready to collaborate with the talented team of HSL and tap into the opportunity in the financial industry.

Showing his gratitude, Mathur thanked all his mentors and seniors at the firm for their support and being a constant source of knowledge and depth. “I’m extremely thankful to my mentors and seniors at HDFC Bank - each one of them has supported me throughout my career, and I’ve immensely enriched my knowledge base by just interacting with them and working closely with them.”

Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions at HDFC Bank, where he worked alongside senior leadership to spearhead critical initiatives. Before this, he played a vital role at Citibank India (now part of Axis Bank), where he managed financial strategy and regulatory reporting.

Mathur began his career at HDFC Bank as a Senior Manager, where he worked for approximately six years. He then moved to Citibank India, joining as Assistant Vice President of Finance, and served for less than two years. After that, he returned to HDFC Bank, where his career trajectory continued to rise.

With a strong educational background, he has consistently been part of the commerce stream and completed his CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
