ASRock strengthened its position in the market as it increased its presence in the motherboard, Mini PC and router space. The company has taken major steps to grab much more market share in India.

They recently strengthen their channel strength by assigning new key distributor for Indian market. Manoj Kriplani, Country Manager India, ASRock shares more insights.

DT: - What have been the key highlights of your company during the year 2016?

A: - Year 2016 was very encouraging for us as we continue to grow our business in India. We introduced many innovative products in the Indian market which got huge response from partners. The following products have been our highlights in 2016:

Motherboard: X99 Taichi, X99 Gaming i7 a broadwell refresh motherboards

Mini PC :DeskMini a Socket type basis. Supports 5x5 standard building block chassis. Mini-ITX form factor system.

Router : G10 a 4T4R high-end gaming router.

DT: - What is the central force which keeps partners and consumers loyal to your company?

A: - ASRock has been growing fast and has become one of the three largest motherboard brands with its headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan and branches in Europe and the USA. The young and vibrant company targets at the entry to mainstream segment of the MB business, owning reputation around the world market with its reliability and proficiency. We have kept our quality high which is a key factor in retaining partners and consumers. In addition, we offer excellent post-sales support to our customers. These things are the major factors in keeping partners and consumers loyal to us.

DT: - Do you think that Government of India’s ‘Make-in-India’ and ‘Digital India’ programs are seeing the light of day?

A: - Yes, we believe this government is in the process of creating a world class innovation, manufacturing hub in India. It will be a paradigm shift in the way technology and products are sold in India. We ourselves look forward to be part of this any which ways.

DT: - How does the channel help you to reach out to your potential customers?

A: - Our national distribution is managed by WPG for Intel Series and Savera Marketing for AMD series. We have close to 1000+ partners across India and have recently strengthened our team in India by tying up with Checkers India Technology Pvt Ltd which is our total marketing & sales services (TMSS) partner. With all these associations, we are able to make our reach across different region.

DT: - What is your assurance for providing excellent service support to your customer?

A: -Providing excellent service support to customers is our top priority. We have taken several majors to boost post sale support in India. We cover 31 locations across India providing timely service assurance within 3 days in Tier 1 cities, 5 days in Tier 2 and 7 days in Tier 3. We cover burnt, corrosion and pin-bend warranty.

DT: - What’s your roadmap or strategy for the year 2017?

A: -In the new year, the company plans to unveil motherboards (Intel kaby lake 200 series motherboards along with AMD AM4 new platform), mini PC and IoT router.

DT: - What is your projection for the year 2017?

A: -With the increasing demand of gaming and content creation, high-end product needs will be predictably increased.   Thus, we’ll focus more on this top-end market and co-work closely with Intel plus market key players to investigate and develop new products precisely.
