According to CEO of Iris Global Services Himanshu Chawla,“ We are now looking at the multi-billion dollar cyber security industry in India which is fairly untapped.” The entire economy going digital in a big way in India has also brought its flip side in the form of increase in cyber attacks. Government, industries and businesses whether big or small have all become highly vulnerable to cyber attacks. Cyber crimes have increased manifold. It is estimated that cyber crime damage cost will hit $6 trillion annually by 2021 and cyber security spending will touch $ 1Trillion by 2021. Protecting data and seeing that data is not compromised at any stage has become paramount as all processes are moving to becoming online. Today cyber security is the fundamental need for any enterprise based online. In India there has been manifold increase in cyber crimes over the last few years but the big companies have yet to enter the cyber security arena where large number start ups are trying to take it up.
