Bengaluru has Highest Availability of Jobs in IT Sector: Youth4work

Today, youth are the massive users of technology and are making winning careers in IT and allied services sector. From innovation to thoughtful leadership perspective, technology is the key for the future investment.

In the contemporary world economy IT sector in India is the second largest exporter of technology services. What indicates the development of this sector is that the jobs once confined to Bengaluru - the IT hub of India, are diffusing to other cities as well, like in Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad etc. Also, IT industries adapt quickly to the global changes by automation and technology. For the progress and development of the country, both Public as well as Private sectors must go hand in hand as only one entity cannot lead the country in the path of success.

A research survey by Youth4work.com surfaces out that for Software and allied services, Bengaluru (30%) still has the highest availability of job offerings followed by Hyderabad (19%), Delhi (17%) and Ahmedabad (12%) and cities like Mumbai (11%) and Chennai (11%) have the least scope. Whereas, for Hardware Engineering and allied jobs, Bengaluru (30%), Hyderabad (18%) and Chennai (17%), Delhi (17%) have jobs availability on the marginal differences, Mumbai (14%) and Ahmedabad (4%) ranks the lowest.

These figures clearly show that India is expanding its roots in the IT sector and enhancing job employability across the country.

Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work says, “Technology always evolves into something new and more advanced and there is a need that the employees must refresh their skills time to time. Once emerging miraculously as the largest people-incentive companies are threatened as business models. The root cause of this problem is everything from how it was used to how it's managed in these companies is constantly changing. This clearly indicates that the employees must refresh their skills.”

Fast advancement in technology infrastructure and increasing competitiveness among domestic companies will accelerate technology adoption amongst the youth in India, though there are reports of a slight declined in the investment in the IT sector. However, the number of youth/people looking for jobs in these metro cities is comparatively more in software than hardware.
