WD to Host Grand Finale of WD_Black Cup Season 4 at India Gaming Show

WD Black Cup is one of the most important annual gaming tournaments and essential part of competitive esports circuit of India. Now the finals of this tournament are going to be held on 18th February at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi hosted by Skysports, powered by Nvidia GeForce in partnership with Amazon as exclusive e-commerce companion during India Gaming Show 2023. The show is featuring multiple titles worth ₹13 Lakh prize money. The IGS 2023 is important in terms as an initiative taken by Confederation of India, in supports with Government of India.  

Commenting on the tournament Mr. Jaganathan Chelliah, Senior Director – Marketing, India, Middle East & TIA, Western Digital, said, “WD_BLACK Cup has become a hugely popular esports event in India which many gamers look forward to participating in. Through this initiative, we endeavor to promote esports by nurturing and recognizing gaming talent in the country.”

WD Black Cup fourth season is a playground for top Indian gamers giving competition in CSGO and Real Cricket for they to fight in an intense atmosphere. Both the games were open for gamers from every corner of the country to compete. This qualifier series brought out top two finalist players for Real Cricket and two teams for CSGO. Now they will challenge each other in the capital city of India for their first ever LAN of WD Black Cup. Besides these two games, Pokémon UNITE has also been included in fourth season of WD Black Cup for online match.  S8UL and Marcos Gaming fought in an intense tournament, finally S8UL was declared a winner.

Sonu Singh and Davinder Singh are two players who qualified for finale for Real Cricket while Wicked Gaming and Kingpins are the teams made their way to the CSGO finals. The matches are going to be telecasted live on the host YouTube channel.
