Handa’s appointment signals Swiggy’s commitment to strengthening its executive leadership as it scales up operations, innovation, and customer engagement for Instamart. He is a seasoned leader demonstrating expertise in Market Research, Business Planning, Strategy development, Trade Marketing, Brand Management, and Media planning.

His stance as an entrepreneur in the Digital Marketing space not only equips him with the capabilities to scale new businesses but also makes him an expert in growing large businesses.
With over 16 years of experience in the management and growing mainstream business, Handa has delivered exceptional revenue generation and profitability through breakthrough process development, innovation, and customer and consumer focus. Most recently, he completed stints at Myntra and Flipkart, building high-performing teams and achieving groundbreaking results.
Handa’s appointment holds significance in a time when Swiggy is pushing to solidify Instamart’s position in the increasingly competitive e-commerce market.
Prior to joining Swiggy, Handa served as Senior Director at Myntra, where he was instrumental in driving revenue growth and crafting customer-centric strategies. His tenure at Myntra saw key innovations in fashion retail and digital engagement. He also held leadership roles at Flipkart, one of India’s largest online marketplaces, and ventured into entrepreneurship with a digital marketing startup, demonstrating his ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
In addition to that, Handa started his career as a Summer Trainee at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, followed by joining TNS India as a Researcher. One of the significant experiences was his tenure with PepsiCo as a Marketing Manager for 3 S. Asia countries and Marketing Manager at the Modi Group. He also took a leadership position at Zydus Wellness to scale up his abilities as a market researcher.
At the educational front, Handa has done a PGDM in Communications, Brand Management, and Marketing Research from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad.
