Here, we present 10 promising cybersecurity startups that stand out for their unique approaches, growth potential, industry recognition, and strong investor support. However, we would like to underline that this is a random list and not a ranking.

Secure Smith operates in Computer and Network Security and specializes in Security Testing, Web Application Security Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Defense, and Mobile Application Security Testing. The distinct quality of this startup is its ability to provide customizable cybersecurity solutions to organizations of all sizes to meet their particular needs. For that, they have divided their services into three parts. First, they have a Red Team that conducts a thorough analysis of the existing cybersecurity posture and assesses the vulnerabilities and current security measures. Second is the Blue Team which develops a detailed roadmap tailored to the specific needs. Third, they have an advisory to put the plan into action. 

Their services include PCI DSS, HIPPA, SOC1, SOC2 GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and Data Protection Assessment. Secure Smith offers product consultation, security consultation, and 24/7 technical support are other offerings by Secure Smith. Secure Smith is a self-funded startup and has not external investors. 

2. Treacle Technologies Pvt Ltd

Treacle, a cybersecurity startup that emerged from IHub program, FIRST, IIT Kanpur, focuses on defensive security to protect businesses in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Their flagship product is an AI-based Proactive-Défense-System alongside built-in Deception. This innovative service safeguards businesses even when defence layers and firewalls are breached. It tracks and analyses attacker behaviour early on, then lures attackers into a critical, containerized mirage network, which secures other systems while gathering valuable threat data. This data is utilized to warn SOC analysts early, helping to prevent attacks before they occur. Inspired from real-world warfare techniques, their approach is to protect critical networks.

Treacle offerings range from services including Network and Host-Based Intrusion Detection Systems, Customized Honeypot Solutions, OT Network Security Systems, and Insider Threat Detection Systems. Plus, they also conduct Cyber Security Audits to help formulate effective security policies.

Treacle Technologies raised ₹22 Lakhs in funding from C3iHub. Other than that, it secured an honourable SISFS grant for ₹4 Lakhs from Government of India. 

3. Vulfosec

Vulfosec is India’s first diverse Bug Bounty Platform where companies give monetary rewards for successfully identifying and reporting software vulnerabilities. Functioning like a cybersecurity marketplace, Vulfosec verifies clients' security needs and connects them with the most suitable security vendors. Utilizing crowdsourcing techniques, they provide security services for various digital assets. Their primary focus is on Web 3.0 organizations, decentralized apps, and NFT projects, ensuring the security of smart contracts. Vulfosec aims to eliminate the challenges faced by service-based and product-based companies in finding the ideal cybersecurity partner to debug their programs. Vulfosec has been funded by the co-founders. 

4. AIShield

AIShield is backed by Bosch and has raised $4m in funding. 

5. napID Anti-Fraud Gateway

napID secures customers' and employees' payment credentials and user IDs 24/7 in sleep mode, making them accessible only to their rightful owners. Their offerings include napID’s Fraudster From (F3) which restricts others from access even if they have the password. napID specifically secures payment gateways and credit card details from fraudulent transactions. It has a wide enterprise plan that covers over 1000 IDs. 

napID has raised $13k Grant from Veltech Technology Business Incubator & Ecosystem, $33k from Software Technology Park of India (STPI), $30k from Startup Karnataka, and have $120k Founders Capital.

6. SecureDApp

SecureDApp provides comprehensive blockchain security solutions to organizations operating in web3 space. Originating as a true Blockchain security company it specializes in securing from hacking attempts, smart contract vulnerabilities, and data breaches. Gradually, SecureDApp expanded and included a token launchpad that enables Blockchain projects to launch its native token in a compliant and secure manner and raise funds.

7. Secure Blink

Secure Blink has raised Equity Funding from the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre, US$ 25K funding via Crunchbase, and In-kind services through AIM iLeap 2nd Cohort: Cyber-security and DSCI's National CoE. 

8. Offenselogic

The startup has $100k Founders Capital currently. 

9. Threat Guardians
