Embracing Technology with Confidence
With an engineering background, Supriya was naturally drawn to the IT industry. “Coming from an engineering background, IT was always my first career choice. I do not perceive any industry is a challenge for women. Success is determined by skills, hard work and perseverance rather than gender,” Supriya affirms.
Milestones That Defined Her Career
Supriya’s journey is marked by several key milestones. “There are several milestone shaping my career. The first one was to introduce new mode of business like online with E-commerce partners and establish it for new product segments,” she shares. “Transformation from conventional marketing method to new ever changing digital platform was new learning for me. Interacting with Gen Z, new tech influencers, gamers is exciting and profound learning experience.”
Tackling Challenges Head-On
Challenges are inevitable in any leadership journey. One of Supriya’s biggest hurdles was navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. “During Covid with physical restrictions in place, we focused on expanding our online sales channels, ensuring business continuity. We changed the approach towards business approach with blend of online and offline business. Conducted online meetings, trainings for channel as well as team to keep the momentum of the business,” she explains. We optimized Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, we focused more on digital marketing, social media outreach, and targeted campaigns to maintain brand visibility and customer engagement.”
The Work-Life Balance Equation
Finding the right balance between work and family is often a challenge for working professionals. Supriya credits her success to a strong support system. “A strong support system plays a major role in success of any working person. A supporting family, friends and team members are equally important while shaping a successful career for a woman,” she says.

Supriya believes in defining one's own leadership style rather than conforming to conventional norms. Authenticity in work is important. Build strong network in industry and keep updating yourself with new skills required in today’s fast changing world, especially tech world,” she advises. “Most importantly, Speak Up and stand for yourself at work place.”
