Apple introduces Apple Intelligence with multiple new AI features for its Indian consumer base, strengthening its intelligence ecosystem via iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. Aiming to enhancing its upgrades, it leverages OpenAI’s ChatGPT, creative AI features, and visual recognition, while promising to protect user privacy.
In strives to expand its global user base, the firm, in its latest update has localised the English language for the countries including Singapore and India, as well as simplified it for French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Chinese.
The Writing Tool
One among the several newly released updates, Apple has launched new Writing Tools embedded with third-party and native apps that will allow its users to summarise, rewrite and proofread written content easily. Additionally, it can respond with a single tap using Smart Reply. Also, users can switch between different languages supported by Apple to adjust and match the language in use.
Alongside, Apple Intelligence permits users to select versions according to the content and adjust the tone from friendly, professional, or concise. “Proofread checks grammar, word choice, and sentence structure while also suggesting edits — along with explanations of the edits — that users can review or quickly accept. Users can also select text and have it summarised in the form of a digestible paragraph, bulleted key points, a table, or a list,” the statement read.
The Clean Up By The Photo App
The Clean Up app introduced by the Photo App has been loaded with the ability to remove unwanted photo elements, while the smarter Memories characteristic catches commands typed by users and autogenerates videos highlight.
Additionally, the “language and image understanding, Apple Intelligence will pick out photos and videos based on a user’s description, craft a storyline with chapters based on themes identified from the photos, and arrange them into a movie with its own narrative arc.”
The Image Wand
Creative users can enhance their work with Image Playground, an advanced image-generation tool integrated into Messages, Freeform, and other apps. This feature enables users to create AI-generated images based on preset themes or personal photo references in animation, illustration, or sketch styles. Additionally, the visual AI feature extends to Notes, where Image Wand can convert rough sketches or blank spaces into detailed visuals by interpreting contextual cues from handwritten or typed text.
Additionally, users can generate a Genmoji by entering a description into the emoji keyboard, which then provides multiple variations to select from.
Along with these features, Apple has introduced several other innovative effects to woo its users that makes Siri more natural and conversational. Additionally, in the “Notes and Phone apps, users can now record, transcribe, and summarise audio.”

It starts with on-device processing, meaning that many of the models that power Apple Intelligence run entirely on the device. For requests that require access to larger models, Private Cloud Compute extends the privacy and security of iPhone into the cloud to unlock even more intelligence,” said Apple in the statement.
