Anuj Gulati has been designated as the Head of Global Growth Marketing for Google Gemini. Expressing his excitement, he took to the professional networking website LinkedIn, highlighting his commitment to expanding Google Gemini’s reach and impact. He posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Global Growth Marketing, Gemini at Google!”

With over two decades of experience, Gulati is a veteran in marketing and brand management, and this promotion highlights his status as a distinguished professional. In his role, he will be responsible for driving growth strategy, cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and user acquisition and retention. His leadership at Google Gemini is expected to further enhance the platform’s global growth and market penetration.

Before stepping into this role, he served as Group Marketing Manager for Developer, Growth, and Performance at Google, where he played a key role in overseeing global growth, lifecycle, and paid media marketing for Google's developer products, spanning Mobile, Web, and AI platforms. Since joining Google in 2012 as a Product Marketing Manager for Android, he has held various leadership roles, including Product Marketing Manager, owning marketing efforts for Google Play, Android & Nexus brands. Additionally, as the APAC Retail Marketing Manager for Devices and Senior Product Marketing Manager for Developer Platforms, showcasing his expertise in strategic marketing and product growth.

Having a strong academic background, Gulati holds a BE degree in Instrumentation and Electronics, which he did at the University of Mumbai. Further, he completed his MBA in Marketing from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Taking his professional knowledge to another level, he pursued Executive Education at Google Marketing Academy and Marketing at The Wharton School. During his education, he went deep into a rigorous marketing-focused program that features lectures, case studies, and workshops, condensing a full year’s marketing curriculum into two intensive quarters packed with hands-on learning.
