Of the leading tech skills today, Machine Learning remains the top AI skill to have for the new tech landscape, with over 2.34 million conversations mentioning it. Database Management, Data Science, Natural Language Programming, and Programming Languages round out the top 5 skills.
The largest growth in conversations among these in 2024 was seen for Programming Languages, up over 668% from its mentions over the previous year. Additionally, the niche category of AI Ethics also saw a significant growth in conversations over this year, going up by over 700% compared to 2023 mentions. Among these, the Ola-backed Krutrim AI leads the way in terms of overall growth in online discussions, seeing an incredible 85,200% increase in online conversations. This is followed by Sarvam AI, which recently partnered with Microsoft in Feb 2024 to bring their Indic voice LLM to the Azure AI cloud - securing a 7,410% increase in mentions.
