Zoom Communications, Inc. announced the appointment of Andrew Hindmarch as Head of Channel, Asia Pacific (APAC), underscoring the company’s continued investment in its partner ecosystem as a key driver of growth across the region.
His appointment comes at a time when companies across APAC are looking beyond standalone productivity tools and exploring how AI can be embedded more deeply into the way people work and businesses engage with customers. As organisations look to connect conversations, workflows and customer experience (CX), partners are playing an increasingly important role in helping them put AI into practice. Zoom is a system of action that brings these experiences together to help customers move from conversation to completion and drive measurable business outcomes.
Reporting to Carlos Quaderi, Head of APAC at Zoom, Hindmarch will lead the company’s channel strategy across the region, working closely with Zoom's network of distributors, resellers, systems integrators and service providers to expand market reach, strengthen partner capabilities, and create new growth opportunities across Zoom’s AI-powered portfolio, including ZoomMate, Zoom CX, Zoom Phone and Zoom Events.
“Customers across APAC are looking at how AI can deliver value across more of their business, from how employees work to how they serve customers,” said Quaderi. “Hindmarch brings deep CX expertise and a strong track record of building channel businesses across diverse markets. As demand for Zoom CX and our broader portfolio continues to grow, his experience will be invaluable in helping partners capture new growth opportunities, deliver greater value for customers, and help more organisations turn conversations and insights into action.”
“I’m excited to join Zoom at a time when AI is creating new opportunities for organisations to rethink how work gets done and how they engage with their customers,” said Hindmarch. “Having spent much of my career in CX and scaling channel businesses, I’ve seen the critical role partners play in turning technology into real outcomes for customers. The breadth of Zoom's AI-powered solutions provides us with a strong opportunity to help partners address our customers’ needs and grow their businesses across APAC.”
Under Hindmarch’s leadership, Zoom will continue to advance its channel strategy through the Zoom Up Partner Programme, equipping APAC partners with enhanced tools, enablement and support to strengthen their expertise across Zoom's system of action and accelerate their go-to-market efforts.
Hindmarch brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and CX, with a career focused on building and growing channel businesses across APAC. He joins Zoom from NiCE, where he served as Vice President, Partner and Alliances, leading the channel business for the CX division across APAC and the Middle East. He previously held commercial and channel leadership roles at Avaya, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and 3Com. He is based in Singapore.
