Reliance Jio recently held its 46th annual general meeting where Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries’ chairman made some significant announcements and also shared financials of the company. After a successful distribution of 5G Network of Reliance Jio in all major section of the country, next month, it is planning to roll out another latest wireless broadband service. “The best way to describe this new Reliance is that we have now become a new-age technology company with distinctive capabilities,” said Mr Ambani. New Broadband Service Launch

Jio AirFiber, a new adventure in broadband service, will be rolled out officially on 19th September on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, revealed Ambani during AGM.

JioAirFiber’s Estimated Reach Is 200 Million Homes

JioAirFiber is estimated to reach out more homes with around 150,000 connections every day which is a ten times greater increase. Mr Ambani aims to expand their “addressable market over the next three years to over 200 million high-paying homes and premises.”

For Enterprises There’s New Developer Platform

Another major announcement made by the company was Jio True5G Developer Platform for enterprises which will enable security, low-latency applications and 5G Edge compute faster deployment, real-time Edge AI, immersive experiences, and enabling quicker autonomous decisions.

State-Of-The-Art 5G Lab

Another major announcement was JioTrue 5G lab to bolster their enterprise customers and technology partners for development, create multiple industry-specialized solution and test them. First Jio True5G Lab is scheduled to start in Mumbai’s Reliance Corporate Park.

Over 450 Million Subscribers

Further Mr Ambani revealed about Jio’s total customer base has crossed 450 M subscribers, delivering a YoY revenue growth of more than 20%.

1100 Cr GB Data Consumption Per Month

During his speech, MR Ambani stated that average Jio user consumes 25GB data per day now, which is near to 1,100 Cr GB data per month.

By 2023 End, 5G To Reach The Entire Country

As per Ambani, Jio 5G is present in more than 96% census towns in the country. Further he added, “And we’re on track to cover the entire country by December this year. This makes Jio 5G the fastest-ever 5G rollout of this scale anywhere in the world.”

Already 10 Million Of Jio Fiber Subscribers

As per Ambani, Jio Fiber has already reached more than 10 million subscribers, on average, each of them consumes more than 280 GB data every month.
