In its communication to media partners, TP-Link clarified that it is not a Chinese company. It stated that TP-Link India is a subsidiary of TP-Link Systems Inc., headquartered in Irvine, California, United States.
The company further emphasized that its global R&D operations are owned and controlled by its US headquarters, and that no foreign government has access to or control over the design and production of its products. It also noted that key components, including chipsets, are sourced or designed in Taiwan and the United States.
