Uno Minda Limited, a global provider of proprietary automotive systems and solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), has announced a strategic leadership restructuring and an expansion of its board of directors, effective April 1, 2025.
As part of the leadership restructuring to strengthen the corporate governance and drive long-term sustainability, Ravi Mehra who is currently serving as Deputy Managing Director, has been elevated to the Managing Director of Uno Minda Limited. Under his leadership, the company is expected to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and reinforce Uno Minda’s position in the global automotive market.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Mehra has played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion since joining in 1995. A distinguished professional, he started his professional journey with Uno Minda as an Executive Director & CEO, further elevated to the Deputy Managing Director & CEO – Electronics & Control Systems Domain. Now, he has been appointed as Uno Minda’s new MD.
In another part of this strategic shift, Nirmal Kumar Minda is assigned the role of Executive Chairman, where he will focus on spearheading the company’s approach and mentoring leadership.
Ravi is a highly educated working professional with a strong commercial background, bringing a wealth of financial and strategic acumen to his leadership role. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce and earned the FCS certification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Further, he strengthened his knowledge base by doing FCA again from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Additionally, Uno Minda has reinforced its Board of Directors with key industry experts, underscoring its commitment to innovation and sustainable growth. These leadership changes are expected to strengthen the company’s position in the global automotive market, further driving operational excellence and future expansion.
