Optoma is strengthening its long-term commitment to India through three strategic pillars: technology ecosystem integration, software innovation, and expanded local manufacturing.

At InfoComm India 2026, Optoma will highlight how these initiatives support its next stage of growth in India and across Asia-Pacific. As display technologies become more integrated into enterprise IT environments, Optoma is evolving beyond standalone hardware toward solutions that combine displays, software, device management, and ecosystem interoperability.

Advancing Enterprise-Ready Solutions Through Microsoft MDEP

A key milestone is Optoma’s participation in the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) community, strengthening its ability to deliver secure, scalable, and enterprise-ready visual solutions for Microsoft-managed environments.

Through MDEP, Optoma is aligning future product platforms with Microsoft’s device, security, and management standards, with interoperability, security, manageability, and scalability remaining key priorities for future product development.

From Display Hardware to an Intelligent Software Ecosystem

Through Optoma Solution Suite (OSS), including Optoma AI, and Optoma Management Suite (OMS), Optoma is building an integrated software ecosystem that transforms displays from standalone hardware into intelligent platforms for communication, collaboration, and management.

Optoma’s software roadmap includes AI-driven productivity tools, cross-brand device management, and open APIs for ecosystem partners. By bringing software, AI, connectivity, and device management together with display hardware, Optoma aims to address growing demand for centralized management and seamless IT integration.

Expanding Made in India Manufacturing

As part of India’s Make in India initiative, Optoma is expanding its local manufacturing capabilities to strengthen its long-term presence and better support the Indian market.

In 2026, Optoma expanded its Made in India manufacturing program beyond interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs), commencing local production of projectors and professional display signage.

Local manufacturing provides customers and partners with shorter delivery times, greater supply-chain responsiveness, stringent quality assurance, and stronger alignment with local procurement requirements, including product availability on India’s Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Optoma teams are directly involved in local quality inspections to ensure global manufacturing and quality standards.

India as a Strategic Market for Optoma’s Next Stage of Growth

Optoma’s participation in MDEP, expanding software ecosystem, and commitment to India’s Make in India initiative support its broader evolution into an integrated visual solutions provider, with India as a key strategic market.

The capabilities developed in India will also support Optoma’s broader Asia-Pacific strategy as customers across the region move toward more connected, manageable, and software-driven display environments.
